I approve of the prospector beard, I've spent over 3 years in this pod mining, I deserve a miners beard. Though Chirbba should have the largest beard of them all, for a miners power is determined by the beard size.

I like the thought of station salon services, in such a future time with such control over clones and genetics.. a complete face redo anytime you want for a wad of isk...

Hmm, I really love the idea mentioned by someone. That the hair should actually grow all the time, once in a while your icon should change (once a day or two) and it should have it's beard longer. And hair, also get all dirty. That would be a great part with the "housing" idea mentioned somewhere. 10 years in 0.0, 100 thousand light years from home? Well, a grizzly pilot needs a shave. Now I know what motherships are for, hehe. Changing hairstyles without paying for changing the picture is also a great idea. It's not really changing the avatar. Chainging clothes is also an amazing idea. But not as important as personal higine. I guess that on bs's and bigger ships you could have some kind of showers and keep your self fit,at least a bit.
I am 100% for the idea!
PS - what do you think about getting fatter? XD Just because a pilot is only getting fatter, not eating home-cooked meals, just fly-threw on stations in 0.0? XD

Ehh... it might be nice to have some way to change the pic after a while, other than making a new character and paying for the swap. So something like an Ambulation "salon" or whatever might be cool.
I don't think a visibly growing beard would be necessary though. Then I'd have to remember to shave once in a while. And imagine leaving a JC to sit for a while, and suddenly discovering you look like Santa? |

Coming back 6 weeks or so later and realising you have a dirty great pirate/prospector style beard.
And in Ambulation, maybe have a 'cosmetic surgery' station service. They can change the genetic code of your clone(s) to have a different appearance, for the right amount of isk.
