I was wondering what tools have been used to create movies of people's exploits. I have a crazy little combat tactic I'd like to showcase for everyone, but I've never done any movie-making on my computer.
Any suggestions?

You should have posted this in the general discussion! Drunkenmaster made a really good post about making movies but I dont know where it went. Perhaps one of the forum mods would be so kind as to dig it up and sticky it again coz it was an awesome guideline about filming eve.

download fraps, www.fraps.com and you will understand how to do it, and just edit the movie in like adobe premeire ore any other program you might have. |

I record the kills I'm involved with. I use fraps to capture and then use virtualdub to slice out irrelevant parts or to combine related parts. No finess (fades, texts or anything like that) with virtualdub, so if you want that sort of funstuff go with Adobe Premiere or something similar.

They really need to add a search command to these forums, so you cand find stuff like DrukenMasters post.
I have FRAPS but am having problems getting the frame rate above 3 when recording .. not sure what it could be really, have a P4 1GB memory 7200rpm drive Radeon 8500 128mb mem... when it is just in benchmark mode it is getting 17 to 19 fps
Any ideas ???
