I really don't know if this is the best place to put this, but I had a question about paying in ISK. What would be the best way to change my payment from credit cards to GTCs paid for in ISK? Would I first cancel my account then somehow get time added? Or should I just buy the time and it would automatically switch payment methods? Not at all sure what I should do here. |

errrrr
just cancel the plan, and have someone trade you a GTC with isk THOUGH Secure trade...
after that, it will apply to the account automatically.
it switches it automatically though.. but if you feeling paranoid.. cancel the plan 1st

When you cancel your credit card subscription your account will run until the expiery date, and then your account wil be closed.
So if you want to changw from CC to ETC, stop your credit card and change it to Time code. Add the code. The number of days added by the time code should now be added to the remaining days from your credit card subscription.
Just remember, from now on you need to actively "refill" your acctount with time if you do not want your account to halt on expiery date.

The "best" way depends on if you have another paid account.
With two accounts: - Cancel credit card payments - Wait until account expires - Use second account to arrange/complete GTC-ISK trade to the first account
With one account: - Cancel credit card payments - Arrange/complete GTC-ISK trade - File petition to have time from your last credit card payment restored
The problem you have switching from credit card to GTC (ISK traded or otherwise) is that you will lose any remaining time when the GTC is applied. Keeping that remaining time requires GM intervention. That is why they officially recommend that you wait until your account expires before switching from credit card to GTC. The problem with the GTC trade is that you need your account to be active to arrange for the trade.

Sounds fairly simple. Thanks for all the advice, guys. |
