Propaganda material
Over the last couple of days there has been dramatic events happening in the swedish channel and perhaps even the whole swedish community this all stems from the Unbeholden corporation declaring war on Arrvra holdings inc in an attempt to persuade their members to merge with Unbeholden, as it stands at this moment Arrvra is backed up by their friends in the butterfly fx corporation and thus the Unbeholden has choosen to recruit their mercenary friends Vengeance imperium.
Unbeholden upholds its policy to make this into a gentlemens war and being true to ourselves we have even composed a short video to be released to the public to make a few things clearer on the happenings in this somewhat onesided battle.
The video in itself may not be as flashy as some released over the last couple of years but it has its own fragrance and is a must have for any eve vid collector or interested party out there, also i would like to add that it was composed, edited and rendered in less than 48h.

adding that the video is a prelude video to the war and as thus its not a pvp video its just multilayered propaganda

First of all.
Unbeholden recruited mercenary friends vengeance imperium to declare war on arrvra _before_ unbeholden and before anyone had declared war on unbeholden. they also hired Lensmen, who declared war some 2 and a half hours later

We are being attacked by pirates and chickens (I mean, a 19 strong mining corp vs a 56 strong merc corp, come ON!) and all of this just because we _dont_ want to "merge" with their corp?
I hope you are all impressed =)
(oh and the vid could have shown how the mercs snuck a SIN on top of Coras hulk, THAT was a nice move)

Vengeance Imperium is not a pirate corp, nor are we chickens. We were hired to Declare war on Arrvra Holdings inc. The fee was paid up front by our client. The identity, and size of the Target Corp is a moot point. If you were a 190 strong Industrial corp, we would still have declared war on you. Its nothing personal. Business is business.
I would hope that when you make a post and accuse people of being Pirates, you do your homework and make sure they really are. and while i personally have no objections to being called a pirate, i have been a pirate, and have been called much worse, I cannot say the same for our new CEO, nor many of our members. They are as likely to let the war lapse at the conclusion of the contract, as they are to maintain the war against someone making baseless accusations.
As to us being friends of the unbeholden. That is also untrue. They are our clients. thats as far as the relationship goes. and if, once our contract is concluded you want to hire us to go after them. thats just fine and dandy. We are mercenaries after all, people pay us to fight thei wars (btw, please ask more of your friends to wardec us, we like fighting, and if more corps join up against us, we'll maintain the war for the fun fights)
Now, to stay on topic. I think the video could have been a little better, and a little more propaganda-ish

I was hoping you would declare war on us, like you said, and was dissapointed when you went for arrvra instead =(
But since you sent mercs after the carebears and stay away from the action yourself, we thought we could still join in the fun. We are both very small corps, but can probably get atleast a couple of good fights out of it.
Its not for profit, its all for fun. And like I said, war in eve is beutiful.

What a thouroughly awful video, i dont see what the point its trying to make if indeed there is one to be made. Just looks like someone is moaning about being war dec'd. |

Good news!
The merc corps wars have been ended. They might of course still be revigorated, and the mercs may be replaced, but so far, to the best of my knowledge, there is but one active war, with the unbeholden, and that we can probably survive.
Just to clarify- the vengeance imperium arent chickens themselves; when they have greater numbers they camp your station, when they dont they dock or clear out of the system until they do. That is valid as a tactical idea. My objection is ofcourse the fact that someone stuck 2 merc corps on our mining corps, and didnt even have the decency to fight us at all without the mercs (including a dread) to keep us down.
Ofcourse this changed the very last day of the grand war, when Moncada, the warlord of the operations against Arrvra (well, the one paying for it) lost two ships in 30 min. I wont smack anyone about that in it self, since we lost 2 hulks, an aba, a proph and an arby (oh, and some dessy I think?) so far in arrvra.
Anyway, I wouldnt be opposed to hiring the veng in the future, the odd one smacks (when hung over?) but as a whole they are pretty much the mercs they say they are, and atleast against miners they totally owned the battlefield!
So, stay tuned, as we find out who the unbeholden will send next to quell the miners who dare stay in their own corp, in defiance of the unbeholdens plans for easy money! |

That's azheri. We are currently just chilling and see what's gonna happen. Me losing 2 ships yesterday was just total stupidty :P The objective is still on and will be done. So no reason to rest easy just yet ^^

About the video:
I'm very sorry for the fact that some really hated this video, it is a shame that i failed you in this.
My own views on why it turned out to be a mess:
I had to learn Blender,adobe-Premiere(these from scratch) and for me new functions in 3dstudio all at the same time as i made the video(all this in about 48hours).
The capture of EVE-video content was new to me and we had no experience in the capturing programs for this purpose.
The 3d-heart was used way to much and I fully agree with that(Because of the deadline of the editing and the length of the song i admit this and take the blame),the heart has a important role as a symbol nevertheless and it is up to the observer to evaluate what this may stand for( we do not share our view on this symbol at the current moment ).
Many would probably make a video far greater in far less time I'm sure but I still tried and of that I am proud.
The Music:
The lyrics was to us "spot on" to the propaganda, the industrial sound in unison with our awe to the void of space, the industries cogwheel and the crude force of warfare.Besides we love Laibach.
-A sidenote-
/Why even comment the music in the way about how it sucks?
If that is your standpoint then take it with the band playing it and not with us, besides your musical palette is of no interest to us./
The purpose of the video:
As said before ,this is propaganda.
*Not a video to show how nice EVE looks (though it looks as a dream).
*Not a video to put shame on Arrvra(probably the opposite).
*Not a demo in flashy skills of editing (as you so forcefully already commented it was not).
My thoughts:
*I will make new videos in the future(even though many will not want me to) and I will probably get shot down by many harsh comments over and over again(these are the freedom and rights of all in the EVE-forums, and i respect these freedoms fully).
*I will try my best to refine my skills in editing and become better.
*I will demand longer time to make my editing in the future.
*I will read all your comments and i take them to mind to give you a more good (hopefully) time watching my videos.
//All of my comments in the forums have nothing to do with my corps standpoints or the war with Arrvra , the comments i make may even contradict the corps views of things and when they do i will get punished rightfully by the CEO and/or other parts inside the hive of -WAT-.//

hmmm, i didn't like video too, but i accepted it and just deleted.
An artist dont need justify what he did with his art.
but next time ask 2-3 peps before releasing a movie, they can find errors ,typos or give new ideas.
If the peps make critics accept it and learn it, and dont respond. :)
that why artist are hated, look at the coders in CCP ;)
