I have been back in EVE a couple of weeks after a long absence and have some pvp oriented questions?
1) Do warp core stabs only help you enter warp. I don't think they have anything to do with micro warp drives, right?
2) As far as ECM/ECCM goes, does this only apply to weapons and weapon locks? I know some electronic warfare desn't care how high you sensor rating is, but reading the descriptions of the items doesn't help.
3) Do the range jammers work against anyone targetting you?
4) Is there any counter to webbing you - to break the web?
Thanks in advance, -Aerol

1) They counteract (with a strength of -2) warp core scambling, when players/npcs try tokeep you from warping.
2) Yes its very complex. Modules marked ECM, when used successfully, make it so the target cannot jam you at all. Modules like sensor dampers reduce their range.
3) Sensor Dampers work on the person you turn them on, just like a gun.
4) On some ships a MWD will cancel out a web, but its not usually a good idea since at normal speeds you wont get out of their range before they kill you or you run out of cap (and they kill you). Generally no, the best way out of webifying is to kill the person doing it (assuming you cant warp).

Another solution can be to use EW to break the enemy's lock, I've never tried it myself, but I've heard about it.

As a straight on answer to this question, No. Once you are webbed you are webbed for the duration.
You can try to use burners and mwd's to increase movement rate, hopefully to get out of range of the webifier; or kill the pilot using the webifier on you; or some ew/ecm solution as mentioned.
But that is only to stop from getting webbed for another cycle. Eve Guardian - Former Reporter

Another counter to webbing is to web the enemy back.
