I just called my mother twenty minutes ago.
Dad said "Happy Mother's Day!" and I said "Thanks", without a second thought.

Lol - I saw this post and went to the shops to get a card and stuff thinking I had forgotten again! Was puzzled by the lack of mother's day cards for sale!
Why do other countries have to be awkward and have it on different dates to the UK!

In most countries, it hasn't developed out of some ancient Christian something-or-other; it's just developed out of card manufacturers' desire to sell more cards.

Mothers Day in China too. I was cursing coz I've not only gotta celebrate my mother last month, but my wife's mother (and granny. and great granny. And the great granny's cat). God China is a pita

in belgium it was also mother day (so not the 15th august)
btw thx (mother of 2 month old baby , baby mined his first ast away ;) )
For the guys that says 'forgot it almost' you should be podded ,if it wasn't for your mom you wouldn't play eve ;)
