I need someone to make me a program or a script that can identify certain words on music files (mp3..or other formats ..the more the better ) and avi files...the program has to have a large database of words ( easy to use like if i want to put there 500 words that must be identified or 5000 shouldn't be a problem)...example : i want to be able to upload a music file in the program , the program starts scanning the file for the words in the database and see if theyre on the music file ( words like f''k or s''t or other stupid things like that) and immediatly lists the words on a separate window or a pop up , doesn't really matter as long as i dont have to waste time listening to every word on the file ...would help a lot cause i could scan lots of files and intervene only where need it. Obviously im not a programmer so dont know how long would this take or if my 500 mil isk offer is reasonable but this can be discussed ingame eventually...just post here that your interested and send me mail ingame .
I looked on the market to buy such a program but couldnt find anything resembling what i want...but if anyone could guide me ( a site or a name of the program) to where i could buy it and if it proves to be what i want ill gladly offer 50 mil isk reward. Thx

I seriously doubt that voice recognition is advanced to the point of recognizing words in songs or other media due to the lack of "contrast" between the voice itself and the background sound.
I wish you luck on this one tho...

Well i figured that if there are programs out there that recognize voice commands ( to operate your system and other stuf) maybe theres also one that can recognize speech pattern i mean it doesn't seem like something out of star trek to me ...surely there must be someone out there who knows how to make this work .
As for the lack of contrast between the background and the voice..that is an issue that can be easily solved as i could extract the voice from the file ( wich will prob take me around 10 sec to filter and another 10 sec to extract rather then waste 10 min on every file ...) and then upload it to the " word scanner "... it doesnt have to be 100 % accurate ...
The only issue that i see with this is if a program can be made to recognize a letter from a sound ...like create a database ( the alphabet ) and asociate each letter its own specific sound ..from there on we could move to recognize words and so on...

there are programs that recognize voice commands, but usually you have to sit down with the program and it learns how "you" speak. Especially the voice to writing software. and even after all that, its still not all that great

I dabble in heuristics and what your asking for(though awesome) is not within our grasp just yet.
The main issues being, the nearly infinite combinations of sounds and vocal patterns found in song audio. Just as someone has also pointed out, voice recognition though highly advanced is still in the infancy stages of practicality since it uses vocal pattern matching technology which brings on its own share of problems where accuracy is concerned.
I can see the day where what your asking for would be extremely useful though.
One very useful application would be filtering out content in media streams such as TV and Songs(as you mentioned). A feature that would be golden for our growing society members.
