Sorry, your font on that site is terrible.. or is that just me...hope not.

yup correct on both accounts
site looks like a blind paraplegic designed it
another site existed before - looked better but also failed.

That's truly awful on a scale close to midi background music and flashing 'under construction' gif's....
Whilst the idea maybe a sound one (although it was tried and failed before) please, please, go read a book or two on useability, design and typography before you subject the world again to caligraphic fonts on the web....

There were other attempts at this in the past some made it for a small amount of time but it becomes a nightmare I suppose. It is really not better then the end game system which is much better these days.

The banner at the top is enormous and serves no purpose - make it smaller (maybe 25% of it's current size).
Change the font to something normal and smaller.
Read Jakob Nielsen's site like it's the Bible.
I could see how there may be a little demand for an out-of-game auction service but in all honesty game-wide auctions are one of the few legit things Jita is used for.

Yeah well the thing is i put this up in my spare time at work witch is about 2 hours give me some credit here this program sucks and im not about to write one my self because in the end im to lazy to do that and the thing is it works ok give me that. I have no idea what your atlking about the font for it looks fine on both my computers linux and windows.

Don't let the rude people let you down. The font is ok and the banner isn't too big, just too many picky people about. Just needs a bit more time put into it.

I realize you are using a pre-existing auction software package, but is it at all possible to change the default currency used to ISK? Having prices expressed in USD is just plain wrong. ISK was listed on the currency conversion list.

Although nice idea, it wont work, its been tried before. You basically have a situation where to get items, you need lots of visitors, but to get visitors, you need a lot of items. People will continue to use what has worked, in game auctions through contracts, e-o auctions, and spamming jita.
