I'll kill them any day, but the fact this mechanic was useless. The problem isn't that it let people exploit newbies and kill them by getting them in your gang. It's that that's the only thing the mechanic was good for. It's not like you could join a gang and expect to do anything besides get ganked when/if you get called primarie. That and the fact that it meant you couldn't even trust anybody enough to join a gang with them was kind of deconstructive in the long run. I don't know if you know, but Goonswarm doesn't have any serious empire presence, and I haven't even played in a few months as I am in Brooklyn and on some ty ass internet connection training Cap Skills.
