War is here and TOW will be joining the militia to fight for the Minmatar Republic. We have renounced our piratical ways in favor of the struggle to end slavery and the decrepit social system that is built upon it.
TOW is recruiting pvpÆers of all races who wish to fight for the Minmatar in the war. Skill points are secondary to pvp ability and attitude.
Requirements:
- Headset/Mic & Ventrillo
- Mature
- US time zone.
û PvP focused
- Willingness to work in a team and follow orders.
Above all you have to have the ability to get decent or better at pvp. If you struggle to follow instructions then we are not the place for you. The ability to operate independently is a big plus.
Benifits:
- Proven record in skirmish warfare. 89% effectiveness in our time as pirates.
- Friendly group where no-one gets yelled at û well at least not yet.
- TOW is structured to support our members pvp by keeping our pilots in ships.
Brief History
Tides of War was started by a small group of pvpers from the Syndicate/Placid area. We met up in 0.0 and learnt to pvp together running cruiser gangs in Upper Syndicate/Outer Ring fighting against Ronin and other residents. We formed the The Newb Patrol (see http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=529355) and focused on maximizing fun and pvp. Over time our skills and wallets grew and we decided to try piracy. We left the alliance we formed under, founded Tides of War, and moved to low sec where we learned the ways of yarrr! Yarr has been good to us, we have captured mucho phat loot, but now we find ourselves wanting a new challenge and faction warfare is it.
We play Eve for fun û to shoot stuff û and we donÆt smack. If you we want to be part of some serious fun then get in touch.

Note: At present we are, for a short spell, members on an 0.0 alliance so we can rat back some sec status. Ratting is largely done for now and we will shortly be joining the Militia. |

Well, that'll make placid a whole truckload safer! If you guys approach faction warfare the way you did your pirating, I may have to grind up some minmatar standings. Good luck with the change and the recruitment! |

Faction warfare is live and reports are of early Matar victories - yarrr!
We are still ratting back sec status but will be joining the Militia this sunday. looking forward to making some new friends under the flag of the Militia. It will be strange having lots of blues around but as long as there are plenty of reds its ok.

Hey Laz bet you miss shooting us! Miss shooting you - and I miss that Ideal Machine/Ronin ticker. 
Being taught to pvp by having you guys come in a bust up our alliances carebearing was sweet. Syndicate was a great place to be a trigger happy nub.

Yo Bunnz - you know we will. We will be shooting all and sundry and not having any blues! Actually . . . that might not work so well.

We are in the Tribal Militia finally - our corp standings wouldn't update so we had to wait for a petition. Get your applications in and come join the FW fun.
