A request to CCP. Right now, its very difficult to keep an up to date corporate killboard if you're participating in factional warfare due to the sheer number of other participants fighting the same battles you are.
Please, please implement something like an "alliance kills" page in the corp's war tab, so we can get a picture of how our own pilots are doing. Missing two HAC kills alone the last hour or so  ... |

Or just give everyone the killmail and not just the person who got the final blow. That would have stopped this a long time ago. |

Seriously, the personal kill lists must be implemented as a list of pointers into the global list of ship kills, so why not give each player a list of all kills they participated in, and each corporation a corresponding list of all kills it's corp members participated in?
If performance issues somehow prevent this, why not create a global list on a secondary server, update it each downtime, and allow people to pull the information from the 'My Character' page, just like wallet journal and market transactions?

Or a 'Master' killboard, getting an auto-dump every DT.
Then you couldn't fake kills.
Hell you wouldn't even need a corp/alliance killboard. |

People are not using it. I was on a number of kills where I will never have any type of info of them beyond a counter of kills on the FW tab. People that fly ECM ships will be extra screwed. |

I may be very wrong but doesn't the corp tab update all kills your corp members are involved in even if they don't get the final blow think you may have to be director or ceo to see it though?
Been a while since I looked at that feature so I ma be wrong though... |

With regard to corp killmails:
This only lists kills when a corp member got the final blow, so kills will still go missing :/ |

Confirmed. As a director, I have access to the corp kills page, but we only get final blows - in mixed fleets where more than 10 corps might be involved, not to mention people in the NPC corp that wouldn't have access to such a page, its a headache.
Regarding Battleclinic, we've posted all of our kills from today on it. Or rather, I have, that's a good 100 kills or so we were on transferred one at a time - its a pain in the ass, to be quite honest.
On top of all this, there are people that refuse to post them so that people "will stop being killmail *****s" - while I can appreciate the sentiment, some groups don't use them to inflate their e-peen, but rather keep track of what's going on.
I usually don't try and invoke the CCP gods on an issue, but this is one of those times where there needs to be a bit of a tweak implemented. |
