With the addition of new stargates in this last patch, why is there no extra stargate out of Maurassi to avoid the need for people to have to travel through Jita?
Everyone is aware of the problems a crowded Jita can bring, and the usual response of "if you don't like Jita lag then don't go there!" is very often valid, but if you happen to have a POS or any other business in any of the 8 systems the can only be accessed using the Jita-Maurassi jump, then you have no option but to close your eyes, press jump, and hope the traffic control gods are smiling on you 
I have been stuck trying to pass through Jita now for over 4 hours. I don't want to go there, I just want to get out of the little cluster of systems I find myself trapped in. Theres often 100+ people in these systems, all of whom MUST pass through Jita if they wish to do anything in this game. An extra gate that will bypass Jita would make their lives easier and ease, albeit only a little, the load on Jita itself.
Please, give us an option to avoid the place. A toll gate, a low sec route, anything..... 
Jita needs a bypass!!

A low sec bypass around jita would be pretty fun...but wouldnt make much sense RP wise...one system of low sec next to all these super hi sec systems?
but we can always dream.

Maybe Jita should have only one stargate to enter and exit so that the problem should be fixed  |

Wrong. You only need to pass Jita once! If you do need to go through it on a daily/weekly basis, you are obviously in the wrong part of the universe. I have lived the last few years of my EVE life in a part of space far from Jita. When I recently moved halfway across the universe, to prepare for Factional Warfare, I did so without going near Jita. So anyone claiming to have a need to go through Jita, is seriously asking for it. Everything you want in this game can be done without having to go there...

Then the trade hub shifts (albeit probably slowly) to the system that connects to it and you have the same problem.

I wrote up a thread about this "deadend" problem months and months ago. None of CCP cared...

Jita needs to be eliminated, TBH.
Start another system 1 jump away with a whole bunch of entry/exit points (1 long range to each of the empire faction's core constellation somewhere), 1 planet, 1 station, no belts, no agents, no offices, and make all nearby agents not observe it as a mission system.
Call it New Jita or New Yulai or something. Make the station and all gates DED controlled (so FW pilots can still market there if they choose... and fight there all they like).

So then you have an even bigger, even more laggy trade hub that's now the single easiest way to get from anywhere to anywhere else. That's not going to help. That's just moving the problem into a different place and letting it get much bigger and then saying 'oh but jita's fine now'.
