If you're in the same grid for a long time (like on a stargate) or you engage them in deadspace it's very common to have desynced and that those pilots are in fact out of your range (but ofcourse you cannot verify that). If you keep bumping on ships, a stargate or a station the desync gets worse with each bump.
Next time this happens to you and before warping out or anything else, drop 1 container and notice where it appears on your screen. If it's right were you are, then it's not desync and it's eomething else screwy happening.
Maybe there's a very small delay with the autorepeat "reactivation" and said chinese farmers keep hitting furiously their warpout key? |

Perhaps the person who knows what the "possible exploit" is, but wisely chose not to say here could try it on you TANK, to see if that is the case? Then if so, we know they were cheating. |

I have enough cap, I don't get it...
I would be very interested to see what logserver says is going on when this is happening - if something fishy is happening to your warp disrupt field, it would most likely show up there. If you encounter this again, please file a bug report with logserver file attached.

I have had the exact same problem at least 3 or 4 times with my Onyx.
I figured I accidently turned it off but that wasn't the case. Doesn't happen every time though. Just the odd time. I will report it next time it happens. |

We had this happen a few times to guys in our fleets, both for focused and for the bubble modes.
Way it was resolved was usually to restart the client, sometimes this didnt work, so clearing the cache was done, which then worked.
I beleive our guys have bugged a reported it.

Yeap that would be my guess too. Desynchs have been happening for years now 
Heck a quick fix would be a 'resynch' button you could press in case something is smelling fishy in suburbia.
