I'm in a 1 man corp and have a personal Caldari standing of 6.12. The corp average hit 5.53 three days ago, and has not moved since the patch.
I was curious if anyone else noticed a stagnation of corp standings since the patch.
I submitted a petition yesterday morning, but have not received any response (i'm sure there are a ton of petitions at the moment though). Should I have at least received an EVEmail saying "thanks for submitting, we will get back with you, yadda yadda"?
i figured a thread here might get someone's attention. Anyone have any constructive ideas? I thought about generating another storyline, in case it kicks it off.

Edited by: Anaalys Fluuterby on 12/06/2008 13:35:52 Run enough missions to get a storyline, that will normally kick the standings increases back on. This is actually fairly common.
Also, is your standings "native"? Or after skills? Corp standings don't include skills.
As for the petition, no you don't get a form letter. You can re-open the petition and look at any changes, add more details, etc though.

Not it isn't, people should be encouraged to get out in low sec space, but never forced to do so.

Also, it probably won't go all the way in the first jump. We had to wait just over a week before it had incrimentally pulled up to be in line with the corp average -----------------------------------------------

I figured as much on the storyline thing. And it had been crawling from 0.8 to 5.53 for a week and a half. I was close.
No, 6.12 is unmodified, so looks like it's more grinding for me. Hopefully it'll be worth it.
Thanks for the replies, guys.

Are corp standings still client cached too? If so, clear your cache and you should get a true reading.

Not sure. Even if they are, people outside my corp get the same when they view my corp details, so it's really stuck :)

The "do a storyline to make it go faster" is a big lie, right click the faction in your standings window and click the 'show compositions' to show the real standing. |

One other thing to look at is this: clear your cache.
For some reason corp standings will get cached and appear not to update. I was watching this myself recently and the standings in question were stagnant for a few days after a spate of missioning. I checked with an alt and saw they were about where they should be, then a google search hipped me to the cache thing.

I've noticed the same thing. If the standings don't get an update after downtime, I'll write a bug report.
It is not a cache issue since I've checked on more than 3 computers. _____________
