*The Hawk logo fades, revealing a tall Caldari standing midway of a Caldari Navy Raven's frontal loading ramp, his gaze hovers over an attentive, large audience, then to the holovid cam's lens.*
Citizens of the State, loyal heirs of the Raata legacy!
The House openly declares itself a dissident of Tibus Heth's selfish machinations and harmful decisions, which led our beloved State to a momentum of disarray and despair.
We will not be blinded by the retaking of Caldari Prime, even this planet being an icon of Caldari spirit and heritage.
With power comes responsibility. And, teaching by example, the House submitted a formal request to join the Protectorade, approved and accepted in full terms, even its creation being motivated by the wrong reasons.
As war begins, it's not a choice anymore for those who stands for the Caldari ethos to cross arms and question Tibus Heth's actions, or the CEP's validity or purpose, in detriment of our sovereignity.
By saying this, i'm hereby resigning my position as CEO, in benefit of Kailea Deattai-Shandrasekkar, whose leadership and will guide us through these dire times.
Once again House Shandrasekkar will stand forward and fulfill its Contract terms to Caldari Navy.
Once again we will stand for the Caldari people and interests!
Let's bring the desolation of war to our enemies' doorsteps. Fight valiantly, fight for our people!
Caldari, UNITE!
*A thunderous clapping flares up as the holovid drone distances itself from the promenade; thousands of scientists, businessmen and soldiers, wearing the House's black-and-crimsom uniform, stands and cheers in unison, having the clear skies of Alikara in perspective and the planet's crescent raising in the sky.* |

So ... in order to show your dissent over Heth's policies ... you intend to enlist in his forces and fight on his behalf?
Interesting.

Interesting.
A careful read would prevent such conclusions, mr. Starforged. Feel free to try a second time. |

A carefull read shows that Becq was correct. Its not difficult to see through the weasel words.
My original sig was 'Enjoy lag free play in a dynamic space MMORPG'. It was removed for lack of EVE content! ;) CCP say 'Shut up about bugs and eat your eye candy!' |

For those who have a hard time understanding duty, this is what it is about.
Here we have a citizen who understands that the individual does not matter, when compared to the masses of the state. Wether that individual is yourself, a mad despot or a religious nut, we have to protect our people and way of life. No matter how much you might hate Heth it does not matter anymore. We are at war. And as such our duties as citizens are clear.
I will gladly surrender my individuality for as long as it takes to insure the state and my people. And while I do not support Heth, I must support my people. I salute you my fellow citizen, and will put my ships at house Shandrasekkars disposal, if you will allow me to fight alongside likeminded loyal citizens. ----------------------- Why is it called common sense, when it's clearly very rare. |

As a Gallente, even I can appreciate and respect Mr. Shandrasekkar's position. Given the current state of affairs, I actually applaud him and his House's decision to rise up and bolster the defense of the Caldari State.
I hope that Mr. Shandrasekkar's wisdom will continue to remain unblinded in an environment of patriotic fervor, and his focus will be limited to only protecting Caldari assets from outside attack, not launching offenses against the Caldari State's neighbors.

You're entitled to your opinion, Mr. Death - altho i must admit it saddens me to hear such words coming from someone who, due to bloodline, is supposed to have experienced at least a minimum of contact with the Caldari concept of duty.

So did Tovil-Toba. And so will do countless Citizens across the Lonetrek and beyond- every single one a true hero of the State.
It'll be an honor to fly alongside you as an equal, Weitong-haan - and i foresee plenty of opportunities.

Only the weak-minded and the nanve need to picture adversaries as enemies, demons or imbeciles; i recognize brave and competent captains among the Gallente army. It'll be an honor to meet them in the battlefield, and to fight for what we believe is right.
