They may have 300 in alliance chat, but only 50 able to get in a gang. I've seen 400 in militia chat and 2-3 gangs of 50+ and more wanting to join. That's the BIG difference. Alliances have carebears, pos runers, industrialists... militias are pure pvp... kick some arse... ready to fight people.... its WAR. (I didn't join so I'm just in a normal corp) So can people in FW in low sec only shoot their enemies? or do they take sec hits killing anyone other then their enemies or are they just too preoccupied with looking for their enemies that they don't shoot at normal corp people?

TeddyBr, I was with the Tama fleet last night. Fleet members would take the sec hit for shooting at a neutral (you) but there are a lot of bloodthirsty FW people who are willing to do it anyway if they have half a reason. The fleet commanders tend to discourage this -- somebody who shoots a neutral gets gate gun fire (if any) and a criminal flag, which tends to remove them from the fleet and/or slow down the fleet's movement. So I'd say neutrals don't have much to fear from the FW fleets if they move smartly along and don't stop to rubberneck. Rubbernecking makes you look like a spy and may get you shot. Of course, any time you've got that many triggerhappy people gathered together in a group, "accidents" may happen. There are no guarantees.

This blob warfare seems to break promises that FW would mean exciting small group warfare.
