Reprocessing (Recycling) Excel Sheet
While a few websites exist for figuring out reprocessing returns, the ones I've used have been slow and cumbersome, so I created this Excel sheet for looking up and keeping track of goods for reprocessing. Data for every reprocessable item is built into the workbook so all you need to do is select the item from the dropdown list. Additional information is provided like how much profit can be made per item, your investment amount, gross, tax, net and profit % so you can make better decisions about the items you purchase. Make sure to update the spreadsheet to reflect current mineral prices and things like your yield and sales tax.
By default the exact mineral values are hidden but can be shown/rehidden using the arrow button. It provides you with the perfect reprocess amount for each mineral along with your current yield per item. Arrows above each column allow you to sort the data either ascending or descending. These require macros to be enabled! If you disable macros, the rest of the sheet will still function.
Fields
Item Name: Name of the item. This is a dropdown list (Excel does not have a decent form of autocomplete, so you need to select from the list or type it in exactly) Amount: # of items you're reprocessing Buy ISK: How much you're paying per item Re. ISK Per: Reprocessing value per item Profit Per: How much you'll profit Investment: How much you're investing Gross: Total gain Sales Tax: Tax taken off of gross Net ISK: Total profit after initial investment and sales tax Profit %: Percentage earned
Technical Info
The sheet is powered by a pivot table generated from EVE data. The name fields are validated lists based on the name field in the pivot table, and verticle lookups are performed using the name to get the mineral information for the chosen item.
Notes
I have left the sheet unlocked in case you'd like to change any formulas or add to it. Also, the data powering the sheet was pre-Empyrean Age. I am not sure if any items have had their reprocessing values tweaked. Please do not redistribute this sheet without my permission.
If you have any suggestions for making this tool more useful, send me an EVE Mail or reply in the thread. If you like the sheet and find it useful, donations are appreciated . I'm a fairly new player, so any amount helps.

Thank You!
I was trying to make something like this for myself but I found the data dump to be very cumbersome to use in Excel and I don't know any SQL.
The one thing that you could add that would make this into profit easymode would be a feature that got data from EVE-Central and then automatically displayed the most profitable reprocessable items. |

This will be a nice tool to have.

Grabbed it from the eve files link. Looks really good...very useful, informative, and at the same time beautifully simple. I took a look at the macros as well and they all look kosher...just some sorting stuff and whatnot, nothing in there harmful.
Thanks a bunch for sharing this, it is a real help. |

Who cares what you think?
How do we know you are't in ka-hoots scamming password and the like via macro viruses with the OP. Then again what stopping the op from adding that crap after someone like you gives it the a-ok.
If anyone doesn't know how to vet their own downloads they deserve whatever crap that goes along with the risk. Downloaders beware, especially in these forums as CCP won't care if you get screwed. Now THAT is good advice worthy of a thank you.

As I said, the macros are only used for sorting and hiding/unhiding a group of columns. I encourage people to take a look for themselves which is why the entire workbook is unlocked. Disabling macros on this sheet still allows the core stuff to function properly, so feel free to do that as well. |

If the macro's aren't needed for core functionality why include them?

I personally find them helpful.
And why not? Just load it with macros disabled if you're concerned.

Why include profit % columns or totals or true yield amounts or hey, why have the spreadsheet at all? Because they're useful. Excel's sort buttons can get things wrong and usually require an extra step if you're not sorting by your first selected column. The macros I wrote avoid this and turn it into a single click effort requiring no selection. That's why they're included.

I know you probably spent a lot of time on your sheet and probably like me, you check everything over and over to make sure it's accurate. I thought I might spread this little gem.

EveMeep is unfortunately slow, buggy and unstable. The reason I like dealing with spreadsheets is they're generally fast and reliable. I use EveMeep for production and stuff related to that (simply because I haven't made a spreadsheet to do it yet)

Nice sheet m8, best ive seen yet.
Ditto with EvE- Meep. slow and cumbersome.

First, love the spreadsheet! I think I found a small glitch though. Take Cap Booster 75s for instance. They get reprocessed in units of 10, which the 'Re. ISK Per' column seems to understand just fine. However, the Gross/Net ISK/Profit columns don't take this into account and instead show 10x what they should when you've got 'Amount' set as 10 for instance.
It's a simple problem, but I'm not sure if the SQL dump (or whatever you imported from into Excel) contains the necessary minimum reprocess qty needed to fix this. Maybe all charges have to be reprocessed in batches of 10? I never really paid attention if those are the only batch items before.
Anyway, good job :)
