we all know some items are sold by npc's on the market, certain probes, bpo's etc in addition to trade goods, we all also know that trade goods orders go up and down in price depending on wether that order is filled. How ever I noticed since EA that moon survey probe prices sold by npc's have been going up in value where before they were always at the same fixed price. Thinking it might just be some oddity I went and checked other npc sold items bpo's etc and their prices histories, all of them have been at fixed values yet after EA was deployed all show signs of increasing prices.
So bug, unintended feature or just finally bringing everything into line? |

Before EA certain npc sold items didn't change price when bought.
After EA those npc sold items now increasing in price when bought, making them like trade goods
Bug, Unintended Feature or Misc? |

Intended feature.
NPCs always alter their prices up / down depending on how many people buy stuff. You could see it with heavily-traded stuff before (robotics, antibiotics, etc). What's happening is so many people are buying moon survey probes to check out the new moons in that Black Rise region that they're triggering the price increase mechanism for moon survey probes.
Prices will come back down once the craze goes away.
Also, it could be players buying out the NPC supply and reselling it at a profit, too, what you're seeing. That's always happened too. |

Not talking about trade goods, talking about non trade goods items that have remained static for months even with high volume of sales, you can look at the history graph and see no change in the past year then suddenly couple of days ago prices start climbing. |

Everything on the market is Trade Goods. That includes BPO's and all the other stuff you buy from NPC's.
Market = Trading. |
