Ex. "Imperial Navy Sergeant insignia I".
Just as the title says. How do you find tags? "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" |

Those tags you have to go against Amarr I beleave. Most tags like dreads you go agains guristas. But the tag you just asked about is Amarr I beleave. You get those by running missions. Or you can just buy them off the market. |

you get these tags from doing missions for the faction that is opposed to amarr (in your case), whenever the opponent is amarr navy forces. there are missions like "illegal mining" (or something like that) where you just meet ships of one faction navy. those ships do not reward you with bounty, but with tags that formerly could be cashed in to NPC buyers. nowadays they're used for LP stores of course.
I am not sure, as I never tried that, if you could also gain them from shooting those faction navy boats at gates.
but beware, as most often those missions also hurt your standing with the respective faction.
caldari -> gallente and sometimes minmatar (need gallente insignias for LP store) amarr -> minmataar and sometimes gallente (need minni insignias for LP store) etc... |

Tags come from doing combat missions against the faction owning the tags.
(Shooting npc navy/police ships at gates get you nothing but empty wrecks btw.
If you want to try to farm imperial (amarr) tags, then you'll have the best % of missions against them working for minnie corps. Faction kill missions are still, usually, a low to moderate % of the missions with most being vs pirate npc instead.
If you want the tags for LP store goodies, you'll go through less time and frustration if you just buy them off the market. |

And here I thought the obvious answer was From an Imperial Navy Sergeant. |
