HI, this is regarding the following "To simplify the ETC reseller program and attune our product offerings with industry standards, CCP will introduce new 60-day EVE Time Codes (ETC) and Game Time Cards (GTC) for $34.99 USD. These will replace the 30- and 90-day cards that were previously available through authorized resellers and the 50- and 100-day cards sold in the EVE Store. This will affect both online ETC's and Game Time Cards sold in the EVE Online Store. Orders may still be placed for time cards of all increments while supplies last or until the changeover to the new 60-day cards goes into effect on June 15, 2008.
This change will not affect other payment options such as credit cards etc. "
If i buy a butt load of etc's prior to this date, do i have to use them before the 15th, or can i still use them, say, 5 months in the future ??

Edited by: Furb Killer on 13/06/2008 21:22:32 Buy them now, immediatly add them to your account works (I did it with 2 90 day cards).
Why would you want to add them 5 months in the future unless you want to resell them? |

I have done that for a few of them, but i was hoping to keep one or two spare for the future, as i am debating wether or not to create a pvp account for fw. I have tried searching for more dev response to this, but all i can find is what i originally posted |

I would guess that they would work fine.
If you want an official answer, file a petition. |

If you could still get a 30 day it would still be good whenever you put it to use.
One advantage to buying a 30 now an holding onto it for sale later is that you probably will get a premium price for it. One of the more annoying things for people with this change is no more 30 day "free rides" with training. You could do the same thing but with 60 days on 30 days off. People might prefer the 30 day codes, if they could get them.

Because CCP haven't changed the prices in 5 years. If you don't like it quit. I sure don't mind

If you buy a ****load of codes and don't use them up before the 15th, do you really think CCP is going to cancel your real life money just like that?
