Log viewer is a small application that help you view your log files according to keywords.
in other words, it would load only the files that contain the keyword that you provided, and highlight those keywords. so you get all and only the information that you looking for from your logs.
Use:
0) the use of this app is at your own risk!!!
1)start the application, click on "Folders", navigate to the folders where your log files are in.
2)provide the keyword you like to search for.
3)select the log category.(combat isn't functional)
4)hit search.
be careful with your keyword, as if you would choose a very popular keyword. it might take ALOT of time to load the thing,
specially in the bigger alliances when you query the alliance chat.
if i can get a feedback about the performance from some goon guy, i will very appreciate it!.
Modifications:
the application was written in c# but i wont supply any source code for the simple fact that am too lazy!
however you can feel free to decompile it and change to the way you like it.

Ok this is officially awesome; just the thing I was looking for. However it did crash with large files (my EVE chatlogs are almost 200mb), but narrowing it to "private" chatlogs helped and was able to successfully find a keyword. Cheers!  |

thanks for the feedback.
it seems that the app just cant handle large volume of data.
i will do my best to address this problem ASAP.
for the meanwhile i would sudjest to use data, wich isnt larger then 30mb
the logs that i have atm are about 6mb so that explain why i was able to run smooth.

was updating with new version.

improvements:
1)much faster performance.
2)loading info is now displayed on the UI.
3)selecting any type of log file, simply type the first word of the type.
(for example: XXX_Farming will query all the logs that begin with this name)
try to avoid using the additional highlighting on large querys.
will be glad to get some feedback.
