I've never seen implants for sale. Is there some special market for them (other than eBay), or are they rare to see on the market and don't last long?

Yeah, that. They are only for sale by players and tend to get snapped up very quickly.

The five basic implants are available on the market quite frequently. If you don't see them in your region, just check out other regions. If anything else fails, look in Yulai 
The higher quality implants are either extremely rare or not ingame at all, though.

Implant quality? I'm not sure I understand. Implants have quality ratings that affect how much they raise the attribute?

Ah, nevermind. I found it. Basic is +3, and Standard is +4. Is there an "Advanced?"

Yes, there's also Improved (+5), Advanced (+6) and Elite (+7) - at least in theory. Higher than +4 has never been seen ingame as far as I know.

Another good place to buy implants is from the trade channel, just check the prices on the market first and use that as a guideline on price your looking for, some people in the trade channel try to desperatly overcharge.
