I don't get what this fascination with BoB is, if Pure, Razor etc won't help the chance of BoB helping is so funny I can't believe anyone even suggests it. BoB will do what is best for BoB. That's not helping us. Suggesting that saving us would be postive PR for anyone who didn't already have us as friends is stupid. There's only one reason to help SMASHKILL and that's because you're an ally that we helped and would help again. There's no other reason.

May I be the first to vote this guy KOS if it turns out he's a alt for someone in the alliance? I mean he is asking Bob to be our hero and rescue us. Your heroes did come to our space just to kick some dirt in our eyes as we were getting invaded by goons. In all honesty I can't say I blame them.

Is this yet anothing way SMASHKILL is begging for help, their own allies and friends are just standing by. I question if SMASHKILL really ever had any friends in EVE but that another topic. Call on your so called friends. BOB is not a Friend of SMASHKILL, what would be the benefit to BOB to help SMASHKILL but to have GOONS and FRIENDS return to Delve and SMASHKILL can't help BOB at all. I see no benefit in this matter for BOB, let SMASHKILL die and be done with it. SMASHKILL are only bullies of the drone region any way. They mean nothng to BOB and no Benefit to BOB. They can't support their fight at all, that's being proving day after day. Smashkill are not an underdogs at all, they have been kicking all the underdog butts for years, now they just met their match is all.

For those of you who have played the game Diplomacy you know that there can be only one Empire standing in the end. But to be that winner you have to make alliances or you CANNOT win. You will be taken out by one or the other because you cannot fight a two, three, or four front war. They are alliances of convenience against a common foe. Till the foe is vanquished. Now anyone who can look at a map and reads about who are allied with whom knows that currently the Goon/RA et al alliance is way too big. So it IS in BoB's interest to help out SMASH and kill Goons. (Or take them down a peg or two) And what ever wrongs BoB did to SMASH in the past could be ameliorated if they did help SMASH. Because EvE is not like Diplomacy in this case... as you do not have to be the last Alliance standing to win. 0.0 space is large and you can have borders if you work at it. So yes BoB could help SMASH and be helping themselves out at the same time by killing Goonsà and the side benefit would be to help their PR image.

Eventually a line is crossed and they cannot push further, much like in Tenerifis as it was in Delve. Too far from home, too unwilling to fight, too difficult to manage all those logistics so close to the enemy's home. For the most part, we'll probably see skirmishes along the border, but for now both parties are either re-solidifying their space or actually going to go fight an enemy that fights back (because we know BoB won't engage unless they know they're going to win OR if they ABSOLUTELY NEED to get something done, but of course the same can be said about any engagement in EVE). And Teddy, why don't you go make a "quick send me isk and i'll hire mercs" thread again because I'm sure you made a KILLING off that one last time
