So, lets assume you want your corp to join Amarr and you have negative faction with the Amarr Empire.
What would be the fastest way to get your corp to +0.5 standing so you can enlist? Doing regular missions will take until September...

If you're a good pvp pilot, see if there's a player-run militia corp you can join that has high corp standing and wouldn't mind it getting dropped a little by taking you on board.

Is that because FW gets you (much) faster faction gains than any other activity? If so, we have some pilots with high faction, so we can try that with a new corp for those pilots

Corp faction standings are an average of all members in the corp. Your own negative faction standings will decrease the corp average a bit but if you join a corp with high Amarr faction standing, they won't mind. You won't increase your faction standings much with FW as far as I know but it's a way to let you join without bothering to grind your faction standings up.

Try running level 3's with someone who has good standing to share standing rises until you can farm them yourself - level 3's can be done 3-6/hour in a specificly fit battleship.

Do COSMOS missions. They give you a ton of standings increase.

This man speaks truth, do these once you've got the standing to.
Edit: Furthermore, I approve of minmatar pilots seeking to serve amarr interests! I salute you! *grins*

Kick the people with high minmatar/gallente standings. Join FW Have everyone gain a rank or two Re-invite the people you kicked. Get them some standing boosts as soon as possible before your corp gets kicked from FW for having too low standings.

Well now, I wouldn't say that, seems promotion even to second lieutenent gives more then a 4th lvl storyline. In my transactions I see this for rep transaction with caldari state on promotions: Second lieut +4.4198% First lieut +6.4198% Captain +8.4198% Major +10.4198% PS. Don't do FW missions, they suck.

:o I didn't know that :D. Is it possible to drop a rank if you ruin your standings or is it a one-way street? Because if you can lose rank, that would make the system abusable to farm faction standings rapidly.

Interesting! Also confusing. Seems like you just buy, hand in, get faction...

Edited by: Cmdr GAT on 15/06/2008 00:50:01 I did the data centre missions to improve the standings too. Don't buy the tags beforehand, talk to the agent first. The tags are very expensive too and i didnt want to travel around to look for them so i spent most of the savings on them. It's worth it at the end, FW is good, i got into fleet as soon as i said i want to join a fleet. I don''t know how to do for the whole corp but u can ask every members to the data centre missions.

I've found that some of the "Event" agents will lead to stroyline agents that give a pretty good boost (+0,12 with no socials) wheres I've had the commong storyline give only +0.02.

Yeah, find the faction datacentre, talk to the agents, give them the tags. I spent 40mil on tags but it was worth it, going from only being allowed lvl 1 missions, and now at lvl 4 after 24 hours. Now just grinding Minmatar level 4s to get the faction missions and standings a little higher before I can bring the Amarr slavers to their knees. ;)
