Im getting graphic stutters once every 3 mins or so where the graphics "lock" for 2-3 seconds. This happened pre empyrian age also. Graphics card is gforce 8600m gs with latest drivers, core 2 duo T7300 on laptop. Any suggestions appreciated.

Someone suggested updating soundcard drivers so I did this. graphics driver is latest version too. I messed about with graphics settings, various settings including lowest possible, still getting stutters.Tried turning sound off through esc menu....still stutters. Please help its driving me NUTS

i have the same thing. but it happens random. few times a day. graphics just start shaking and sometimes turns in to little cubes or 1cm. like giant 1cm pixels
card im using is a 8800gts 512mb. dont have that issue with other games

Same thing here. Don't know what triggers it yet, but seems to happend out of the blue.

Try adjusting your vsync setting:
Graphics options -> check "advanced settings" -> Present Interval to one.

It's now so bad i can't even play the game :(
I hae a Nvidia 8800GTX with driver version 175.16, running Win XP prof. SP2 build 2600, with DirectX 9.0c (5.3.2600.2180).
My hardware is fine, no overheating, no problems in other games.
Problem started day before official launch of Empyrean Age after i upgraded my SISI installation with the Empyrean Age patch.

I have a rev1 8800GTS 320MB and don't have this problem, so it's unlikely to be the make of graphics card.
It does look like faulty ram in either you pc on the graphics card.

Im fairly sure its a memory issue. I just stuck another 2gb of Corsair RAM in my machine, logged 4 clients in and went to cook dinner. Came back and they were all messed up like in the screenshot in the other thread.
I just spent a few hours testing all my RAM sticks with Memtest and one of them is full of errors. Iv taken it out now and so far so good.
