We are on our 11th day of recruitment and have received 31 applications, 26 of which now became active members. We are getting new recruits every day, and we have grown much faster than I could ever imagine.
We currently have 27 real members, 51 with alts. Once we hit the 40 real members mark, recruitment will be stopped as I do not want LSJV to become a Zerg corp. From there we will build strong and within 1-2 months move into a suitable 0.0 home.

The corp is on its 13th recruitment day. We have gone from 2 real members to 33 real members in less than two weeks!

Spoke to Halada with my main in his recruitment channel. Immediately got the impression he is a solid player. Not in the right space (excuse the pun) to join him now, but were I slightly newer and inexperienced I'd jump at the opportunity.

I'm too short on SP at the moment so wil apply when I hit 5 mill. Currently on 2.2 mill I think.
Two accounts - one for mining/hauling and another for production/trade/hauling.

We have almost attained our recruitment quota and have few positions left open.
We will probably move to 0.0 sooner than expected, for those reason we have raised minimum SP to 10mil SP. Ability to fly a Hulk (or near to) is also required.

Hmm, could consider Hulk. Would need Exhumers I -> III, Astrogeology IV -> V and Mining Barge III -> V, so I'm not a million miles away from it. I would prefer to focus on trading and industry though if possible.
Mining is our backbone but we will have a need of industrialists. Drop by the recruitment forum or convo Halada, the worst that can happen is 'thanks, but no thanks'. Nothing to lose for the cost of a brief chat.

Hello,
Since we are a mining corp, but moving to 0.0 soon, we wanted good practice, hence why we tried to put up a fight yesterday. My members, except a few, have no PvP experience at all.
Since your current tactic is nanofagging and harassment, there is no real experience to gain there for them.
We will not play and we will not fight. If you wish to put out a real group vs group engagement a la lowsec, we will be happy to oblige and my members will also want to do it for the experience.

I honestly do not know what your corporation was expecting. You think coming in our recruit thread to copy/paste a quote from a conversation taken out of context will suffice to scrap my name?
You war'dec a mining corp, with around 41 active members, 3 of which approximately has any PvP experience. Supposedly for the fun of the pew pew. All fair game, part of the game. I see this as an advantage to train them into PvP and drilled them all day. Keep in mind most of them are not skilled for PvP, so they did what they could. Please see our killboard, we posted all our losses and have nothing to hide (link).
Of course yesterday you present with nanogangs (and a falcon, which was expected, so I had all my members willing to give the fighting a try present during the evening for a vent meeting and had them all fit ECCM). Our inexperienced members with almost no SP in PvP aren't trained to kill nanogangs, because that is not their interest in this game. So all you did was harass, smacktalk like the mature adults you pretend to be on your forums, and try to goad us into a fight. Again, we left you be, part of the game.
Your diplomat convo'ed me tonight and we had a candid, mature conversation. I think I explained I would not subject my members to pointless fights. Empire isn't a big money maker, why should we head into a fight where you have Abaddons, Navy Mega, Blasterokh all gank fitted, with ECM support, higher number than us (and more experience) to what surely would have been a massacre for us? We both know the ramifications of 0.0 defensive ops, it has nothing to do with your current tactics. You are simply annoyed we will not play into your little games and found the best way to entertain yourself would be to troll or badmouth our recruitment thread.
Very low, even by any standards, and just shows how either pathetic or desperate you corporation is. Did you expect hot action PvP from a carebear corp? So please, keep smacktalking us if you wish, but a recruitment thread is not the place to do it, and is bad decorum. I think all your post proved is that we excel at what we are trained to do and got your attention because of it, and that we are also mature enough to not fall into immature games you so dearly enjoy. This is the kind of corp we are.
Thank you for your consideration, and since CCP failed to enforce their own forum rules as far as thread trolling is concerned around here, I hope the above explanations can shed more light on the above poster. I would appreciate if that if you have further comments or question you direct them to me privately. This is not a conversation thread.
