Edited by: Rahvin on 12/05/2004 11:44:06 I dont know how many are getting close to the 19mill skill clone, Every day I come a little closer and have allready passed the 12mill skill point clone, hoping to find out if ccp is going to release higher skill point retaining clones soon. Anybody know? Would hate to have to stop training once I reach the 19mill skilll point mark.

I think they simply didn't think anyone would actually reach 19 million SPs.

i would imgagine that the next clone upgrade would be implemented around the time that shiva gets released .It would make sense to me that this would be when it would be implemented as most of the experienced power gamers would be reaching the top of the learning skills curve ..or at least approaching it ( 10 million skills and above )

Perhaps having a clone limit is CCP's way of finally capping the powergamers?
Unlikely, though. I think they'll just bring in new ones.

By not releasing higher level clones all they will be doing is forcing people not to fight for fear of losing anywhere between hours and months worth of skill training. Would you risk a podding if you knew it could cost you 6 months of training? ----------- "Remember people: Omber is the biggest evil ever created, DO NOT let it get to you!" Waagaa Ktlehr, BDCI

Quite easy to work out, average skill points gained is ca. 1 million SP a month, with more specialized trainers getting about 1.2mil.
Personally I've got around 13mil SP since release (1 year), and lost maybe 2 months training time. I have all learning skills maxed and implants. I would have an easy 14+ if I kept up.
Max clone keeps 19mil and say if the highest person has got say around 15mil now, it would take him at least 3 or 4 months to go over that. And I am sure CCP would of released a better clone by that time ... I hope.

...which leaves the 0.0 field clear for non-powergamers who haven't got that many skillpoints.
Not that I think it's gonna happen anyway
