So I started this new toon to participate in factional warfare but Im wondering what is a quick way to build standing with Amarr faction. Im grinding missions but unfortunately the FACTION standing value is only updated when I've run the couple of "storyline" missions. There's got to be a better way to build it up then every 16 missions for a storyline.
I have an "event" agent (different from a storyline agent) that is available to me in my current location...would doing missions with that agent be more helpful?

COSMOS missions ... you can raise your standing to 1.0 in a day and 3.0 in a little over a week

Hey I found a blog which has a pretty detailed method for getting your faction up to 0.5 for FW. Here it is: http://blogs.chimpswithkeyboards.com/vanhemlock/archive/2008/06/16/1958.aspx. Hope it helps!

Sadly, that is of no real use to Amarr pilots. The Graduation Certificate missions are from Khanid Navy, who have their own faction. You get a whooping 0.02% derived modification to the Amarr Empire.

yer data centers are the way to go, just go to the corresponding place here
data center
and make sure to follow all the missions through to the final agent and you should get to if not very close to 0.5 did the same thing then couldnt be bothered (as can get out of FW immediately and join again for moving around freely) and got to the 2nd stage at 0.26 with caldari.
Failing that sell some tags to the other agents located here for standing increase.

wait... you only need 0.5 to join the militia? I thought you needed 5.0!! I have been grinding like crazy for nothing!?
