A long time ago, my small corp tried to join an alliance. They never replied, and the application sat there for over a year. Now, I want to join the militia and I can not, because the old application is still out there (Status is 'New')
OK, how do I change my mind and withdraw this application?
I did petition, but the GM was the typical member of the illustrious GM staff, meaning of course, he was of no use at all.
I decided that it would be faster to just start a new corp and then apply for the militia, but that is blocked by another silly rule, it seems that a new corp lacks sufficient standings to apply!
Thanks, CCP, for the usual display of Icelandic planning.
Sorry to be so bitter, but you see I have been playing Eve four years straight!

a)Contact the alliance you applied to and ask them to reject you. and b) Contact the GM's again and aks them to escalate and bugreport this, till they find someone senior enough who has the rights to force the rejection (its not difficult but will be beyond the access level of the basic GMs).

Do not try and find the signature... that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth... There is no signature. |

get some1 with high enough standings to sit in your new corp for a day or 2, and then your new corp will have suffcient standings.
however, you should definately bug report this, unless ofc there is someway to resind an alliance application already.
