You do not have to be an experienced writer or have any kind of degree or anything (EVE is still a game, no? :)) There are a two different kinds of writers I'm looking for: One would be kind of what I always wanted to do à writing reviews about the many great sites currently listed on EVE-Places.com. The other is to kind of write about EVE in general, may it be daily news and notes or stories which are EVE-related but in context with the sites listed. Your articles will be published ingame (igb-compatible), in the EVE-O forums and (of course) on EVE-Places.com periodically (probably on a weekly basis). For your efforts As for your compensation, IÆm open to working a number of things out! I will be happy to pay ISK for content on a æper articleÆ or æper postÆ basis, or a number of other things, including giving out shiny new ships and items or free ad space for your blogs and services on EVE-Places.com! All the very best, Smakalicious About EVE-Places.com was launched in March 2008 and is run by me, Smakalicious. I've been playing EVE Online for a little more than two years now. During that time, I had gathered a gazillion web sites and seeing the need for a complete and concentrated place for EVE-related links, I started out this little project which continually grows a little day by day. Many EVE pilots have supported me along this tedious way. My goal is to present the EVE community a place to share the interesting web sites around the world and in this way allow me to honour the work, which many people have put in developing websites for the users of the EVE universe. I am a published author and a columnist for two publications; a newspaper and a web-based publication called 411mania.com, I write video game reviews for that site as well. It depends on how you would like to get paid, eg. per article or per month, and so on. It depends on how much time the author can/is willing to invest. BTW, still looking for writers, not necessarily for reviews and stories only, also on topics like PVP (eg. strategies, tactics, ship set ups, fleet ops, and so on) or "the latest buzz" from the FW battlegrounds. One thing I'm looking for are personal stories from all around EVE, similar to blog posts. Some really talented writers have contacted me and I'm proud to soon present their work to you. I've been meaning to write a short story or two and opinion pieces, if I could only find a way into it. I know theres been things,mainly U.S. politics where I have posted about(corp forum) and it wasn't for weeks or months before I heard anyone "official" say anything remotely similar. I'm the guy thats been getting a lot of "wall of text" posts in response to anything I have to say. Simply because they have nothing to fire back with other then distorting the "wall of text" line.

Been playing Eve since beta now and I've been a jack of all trades and been all over the place in that time, eve managed to coax my other half into playing as well. Sure there's all sorts of things I could write about, not a professional writer in any way, but write quite a bit of poetry and short sci-fi stories so I'm far from ineloquent I think. I'll mail you when I get home tonight. Have a think about some test article topics you might like me to have a go at and I'll try and and do a test article for you based on one of them. The scream filled my lungs and almost on the verge of panic the disorienting dread was replaced by flicks of memory. My ship...gone. This is what its like to be pod-killed. I wonder if I'll ever get used to waking in a clone vat. This was the worst I can recall. Something about this clone was different, but I seem to say that every time. The manic battle, the voice-com filled with questions I could not answer and demands I could not meet. Furiously firing my weapons, watching my status monitors begin to go red, then faster and faster.... Taking a deep breath, then another, I struggled to calm myself. EVERYONE SEEMS NORMAL UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW THEM.
