Hey guys!
Was bumming around on Battleclinic and found some very strange ammunition types that I have never seen. They are the tech II Auto-cannon and Artillery ammos; 'Shock S/M/L' and 'Storm S/M/L'
Storm in particular looks very attractive to me. Even the Shock would be very nice to roll with against shield tankers. Is this ammunition that was once in the game and is now unavailable? Or perhaps it's from Mission rewards?

It's ammo that never actualy made it into the game, but made it into the database and remained there even if it's not supposed to become available any time soon.

You'll find a lot of things like this, including ships and mods, skills, etc. They've appeared from time to time in DB dumps and generally don't get cleaned out from some sites, or they keep them around for historic value.

It's even better in the in game browser, since the item links actually work there, so you can find out exactly what the mighty Nerf Bat can do. It will also teach you that presence in the database only means that the devs have looked at it, there are countless dead end ideas in there.
