Hey guys,
Is there any advantage in having your alts in the same corp as you?
Right now I have both of my alts in the same corp as me, I donGÇÖt know why I just did it. Anyways IGÇÖm doing some high sec pvp due to a recent wardec but the problem is now I canGÇÖt (semi) safely move my merchandise. I could remove them from my corp but if I use for support later on a quick corp history check should lead someone to reasonably guess that theyGÇÖre my alts.

I have my trading chars in same corp.
Benefits so far: - All have access to corp wallets, which I can use to budget ISK for different things - Moving items between chars is easy with corp-contracts (private contract would take slightly longer to setup) - I can use Corp Description to list all my trading chars, so wardeckers know what they will face.
ps. my operations are wardec-proof, so no use in wardecking me

Just roleplay, your alts are people in your allaince that are joining an npc corp, since they are tired of the wardec and after its over they are gonna rejoin. That is why they are helping out.
Course it hurts corp image to hear people doing that npc corp hopping during war dec. but up to you. I will not be voting in the CSM election, so you need to go vote to make up for me. |

I don't think there's any advantage to have alts in your mains corp (player corp).
Best leave the alts in an NPC corp that way they can move freely without worrying about war-decs.
Only benefit might be with chat but a lot of corps have a chat channel where they can speak to people in your corp from outside the corp. |

The disadvantages include people knowing your alts are all related, and they're all the same wardec target.
Advantages would be increased anonymity, ability to share items in the Corp Hanger, or access shared funds in the Corp Wallet, and manage Deliveries from any of your characters. You can also freely agress your alts in empire so you can easily test your loadouts or, as mentioned, web your own freighters around highsec |

Being able to take from corp hangars. If not in the corp they can put stuff into a corp hangar (like an Orca or at a POS) but can't take from it. If the alt is in the corp it no longer becomes a problem if you give it roles. The same goes for anchoring/unanchoring. |

Just as a friendly FYI, no one cares enough about your two-bit corporation to bother even lifting up their fingers to scratch their heads while they briefly ponder the notion of pondering the notion of wardeccing it.

Corp hangar, wallet, PoS access, station access in null, taxes all going to the same place.
Only reason my alt isn't in the same corp as my main is because I want my own PoS, and the main's corp is too big to let me have the requisite roles myself. Thus, research slave alt will hold and use the PoS, along with any others I care to train up. |
