This has probably allready been sugested but i would like to see some modules similar to the cargo expanders except for expanding the drones bay. I realise that eve relies on balance and that for something like that it would need to have a down side.
A drones expander could reduce cargo space or the ship sepeed or even require a large amount of power grid.

it should be an exchange of cargo space for drone space. nothing more. i don't see how it would be more than a 1-for-1 exchange of cargo space to drones. most likely it will be something stupid like 2-for-1...
there is a fine, but dissasterous line between a fart and a shart. i suggest you make sure which side you want to be on... |

I've thought about this myself. It would be great.
The main problem I see with this is being able to add drone space to ships without a drone bay (0.0 space).
Of course this was what initially peaked my interest on the idea. How cool would it be to have a hauler with drones? Add a couple harvesters to your indy and it would pick up the pace of afk mining. People wouldn't like that.
But if the upgrades only worked with ships that already have drone space I could see it working out.

I thought about this the other day I figured it would have to be modules that added drone space on like
basic drone expander - 100m3 of drone space
drone expander 1 - 250 m3 of drone space
drone expander tech 2 - 350m3 of drone space
the reason why I think it has to be like that is when your carrying cargo, it does'nt matter if your space inceases by percentages most of the time as more space is simply more space, but with a drone bay things have to be 50m3/100m3/250m3 it would be pretty uselless having a 10% expansion say that gives you an extra 70 drone sapce.
This would also mean ships that normally could'nt carry drones could, but it would come at a price of mid/low slots which I think is pretty fair.

Ever tried a Dominix? 5k base drone bay and extra 5% for each level galente battleship. If you want cargo to drone bay I d love drone bay to cargo. Here comes my industrial tank 6 high slots (turrets), 5 med slots and enough low slots to make an industrial`s cargo space look small ;)
