Title says it all I have no history of losing cnnections while playing , in fact can't remember the last time it happened. Since I downloaded the reprocessing window patch I have dced 4 times in the last hour. Is anyone else having this issue? How can I roll back to the client I had prior to the patch when I get home from work tonight? Any ideas ? Thanks in advance, Muzz

Hmmm. I didn't install the patch, and I've lost connection several times. Methinks there's a glitch on the servers.

Uninstalling the patch doesn't seem to change it. Rebooting hasn't changed it. It's really annoying to be disconnected unexpectedly, over and over and over.

My problem with the patch is totally different from those stated above. I installed and now eve will not open at all. I guess I will have to do a complete reinstall, AGAIN!!! DC'd five times in three hours - have tried rolling back the patch, no dice.
Given that Evemon dc's as well and I can't access the 'myeve' subdomain of this site when it happens I'm pretty sure the issue is on CCP's end. Maybe the hamsters are gnawing on a network cord somewhere?

The same thing happened to my husband just now. He had been DC'd 9 times today and I have been DC'd 5 times in the last hour. I almost lost my BS and ended up just docking. I guess I can't play this game tonight. I did install the patch, but just uninstalled it to see if that helps.

Yes, I fear the patch corrupted the client, I think it's time they shut down the servers and do EMERGENCY maintenance. Better now than on the weekend, CCP. Trust me on this one.
Idle for few minutes + attempting to click basically anything = disconnect. EVE Mail had no "reader" window. Chatting in Corp resulted in constant buzzer mode.
I fear a rollback, folks. They should not let people log on anymore. They should isolate the problem while it's offline. I'm sure all 20,000 of us would rather be offline and return to a stable game after a few hours of maintenance, than suffering a major loss in case of a rollback.
Please CCP, shut it down. I'm begging you.

I've lost connection with Germany over a work line. I've lost connection with EVE (Iceland). I've lost connection with my teleconference (somewhere overseas).
I have not lost my internet connection. I have not lost my connection to my server which is in California. I have not lost my beautiful pandora music mix which is state side only.

Hmm just got back from work haven't tried eve yet but to clarify:
Im in florida on the gulf coast and after my third dc, I ran a speed test through speakeasy.com pinging their seattle washington server over 3000 miles away.
Im on a fiber connection and I was getting 12.4meg down and 1.4 meg up.
After that test I logged back on and got my 4th dc, so I am skeptical that it was on my end.

The route your packets take to Seattle is quite different from going to the UK. The problem is not on your end. It's not on CCP's end either.
The problem lies somewhere along the path to the UK and there's nothing any end user or CCP can do about it.

Now Opening login screen reads "server status: UNKNOWN" and it tells me there is a problem with my connection, which is bull **** because I am obviously connected right now as I type this.

I am on Cox Cable Modem service. I have 3 computers in my home all of which have Eve installed. I have lost connections on all 3 constantly the past 2 days which is very rare. My brother-in-laws and I play religiously here and have never had this problem. I left 2 of the machines logged into Eve while I went to play Age of Conan Online. I never lost connectivity to Age of Conan Online, but Eve constantly is disconnected.
I lost connection to Eve over 15 times today alone; it is unplayable at the moment. Issues appears to be across the pond from the US.
This is not a internet connection issue with my provider. Not sure if it is software, server, GSP related or combo.
