My brothers and sisters, today war rages accross the universe as Gallante lock horns with the Caldari and the brave warriors of Matar fire into the belly of Amarr. Just hours ago, news had reached me of several conflicts involving Amarr and Matari militias throughout the Matari border systems. Amidst this, is the news from the Theology Council of declaring Jamyl Sarum as Empress-elect.
Almost four years ago, the agressive expansionist ways of Sarum came to the fore. Let us not forget the history of the evil ways that Sarum coming into power will bring.
In those days, as Commander of SMaK Enterprises and the SAS, a declaration of all out war was made upon Sarum and her supporting corporations as it became clear that the military corporations fighting for Sarum were making success with their war campaigns into the Minmatar homeworlds.
In the days before the Amarr championships, which would lead to Kor-Azor taking to the Imperial throne, was the support for Sarum growing ever stronger. With her team in their Championship bid, Sarum performed Shathol'Syn - her own suicide. The support for Sarum grew ever stronger with movements of the Sarum Navy and her supporters becoming ever more aggressive. My actions were to declare war upon the corporations who held support for the House Sarum so as to defend the Republic from incursion and to weaken the enemy.
War raged against Dark Seraph, a leading supporter of Sarum within the CVA. Battle took place upon several fronts within Derelik and a number of Amarrian systems. Several accounts of which can be found here.
People of the Minmatar Republic prepare to fight to your last should Sarum come to power. There remains strong support for the Sarum family and there are many who will flock to her call should this happen. The strength of the Amarr and the evil, ruthless expansionist ways of House Sarum will come swift and you can be sure that T.R.I.A.D and the military corporations flying under the Minmatar Republic will be ready.

I agree...
Sarum's father held a Command post within the Amarr Navy. Jamyl herself went on to become one of the Commanders within the Imperial Fleet and also served as War Minister, the first female to hold a position in both cases.
It is also known that Jamyl Sarum believes that the renouncing of the Reclaiming was one of the biggest mistakes the Amarrian Empire has made.
I too believe firmly as many should that if Jamyl comes into power we will see much more aggression from the Amarrians

Isn't it ironic? You all are speaking on how Lady Sarum is a supporter of the Reclaiming and all that... and yet, it was the Republic that started this war. Ironic, no?

Yes, isn't it.
Lady Sarum would probably never have reappeared from hiding if the unprovoked aggression by the Elders had not happened.
And, as is known to most, not all Amarrians are too pleased about the current situation regarding Lady Sarum.
Of course our gratitude towards the Lady remains great, since she drove away the attacking terrorists, and brought justice to those she faced.

techically the republic didn't start, that would be our elders. anyways, it could also be argued that the reclaiming of our homeworlds started it, or that the nyx incident did. Just a small digression. |

You are wise to be concerned. For far too long the Empire has laboured under weak Emperors who believed that appeasement was strength, and that by kowtowing to our enemies we could placate them.
The unprovoked assault by the barbarian "Elders" has at last laid bare the folly of Heideran and Doriam, and it seemed that their weakness would doom us all. But God still smiles on his chosen, and has at last delivered to us a true Empress, one who will shed the decay and corruption of past regimes and lead us back to our rightful glory.
My family have served the Sarums for many generations, and I thank God that I will at last have the chance to carry on that tradition in the service of Empress Jamyl.
Hail Sarum! Imperium Sine Fine!
