Hey Everyone! 
I'm relatively new to EVE online, and i must say that i normally dont play games for pretty long time before i get bored, but EVE is holding me and keeps amazing me. So my idea is to make an EVE inspired casemod as an tribute to this amazing game. 
Well, let's get to the questions.
- First of all i would like to know what peoples opinion on making an EVE casemod is.
- Secondly i am asking someone that own's an Augoror, either want to take pictures from almost every imagenary angle of the ship or maybe a "rich" person would like to sponsor an augoror for me, so i can look at it my self. 
concerning the sponsoring of an Augoror, please contact me (Akularen) in-game. 
NB: I'm also very interested in constructive idea's (anything from entire 3D-model's, to sktechs' and just ideas) related to the casemod.

I think you should go for it, It would be a great idea. I think a little while back i saw some company do cases with eve graphics on them, ill see if i can find them.

Really awesome graphics on the cases, but i dont think I would pay 300$ for a case.. well... idk.. lol
I wish there was a template of each races emblem. I would so buy one of those to paint on my case and possibly other things.

i think so aswell, and i haven't actuallt seen any "real" EVE casemods done?

will do. however i'm still in the brainstorming stage.
i think i'll be posting a worklog somewhere, when i start on the actual modding.

I've always thought the hull of the Obelisk would make a cool case. It even has drive trays pre-marked.

hmm.. haven't thought of that yet, think i'll have a closer look at it? - thanks for the input
so far my modding plans are not to make a replica of one of the EVE ships, i'm only wanting a sample/pics of the interesting ships to get inspired by them.

The Abaddon probably mods into a case relatively easy aswell, the main hull has the right shape. The hardest part there would probably be the spine and prow.

i think you're right, but as i said i'm not going for a ship replica.. i'm just using the ships so i can get some inspiration from them. - but thanks for the input, i really appreciate your ideas, and suggestions.

cool go to the dump and get an old rusty PC box and put a motherboard in it, and tape it shut with duck tape!

Well, for inspiration, i'd say look at the following ships; Bestower, Obelisk, Fenrir(spelling might be off?), Rokh, abaddon, Dominix and Megathron to be honest.

thanks! - i find especially the Rokh and Fenrir exiting, but i can't find any good pics of these ships

but I'd say in the end ammar would be pretty sweet, use real gold!
a vexor could work...
Also you could do some INSANE modding and make it a long flat motherboard case and make it the ammar industal ship :P

Are you gonna pay for the gold? ^^ - if you look at the amarr ships, it seems to me as they are chrome/polished metal and somekind of yellow/sand color?

Back to the actual modding plans. I've been thinking of putting watercooling in it, so i have to decide a color for the coolant, as i think plain water is a bit... boring?

Well, plenty of dyes available for cooling, either UV-reactive (meaning you'll need blacklights in the case to get the most out of them) or conventional dyed coolants.
Most coolants tend to have very intense colours though, so they'll be bright compared to the somewhat muted colours an EVE ship hull normally has.

i know, i think i saw a pair of UV CCFL's for a pretty good price at the local computer store
concerning the coolants, i have been thinking about the same.. but shouldn't you be able to damp the colour of the coolant? - by mixing the coolant a bit thinner than normal, or maybe by mixing two different additives?

Soft desert sand yellows/browns probably, fairly pastel-ish colours, or those colours in a metal-flake version. (since most Amarr ships still have a metallic sheen)
