Destroyers, the forgotten children of EVE
This thread is a request for players to offer ideas, or link to previous posts of ideas, for some cool new Destroyer designs that you would like to see in EVE. Any input is welcome, be it for current existing destroyer hulls or for new tech 1 or tech 2 hulls.
While this may not be a priority for CCP development in the near future, the Destroyer class of vessels suffers from a severe lack of attention bordering on neglect. If some sound ideas are made the devs might take notice and begin to consider some new destroyer designs.
As I have the time I will try to search through the forums (*yikes) and collect together previous proposals for Destroyer love. If you have posted, or know of posts, about destroyer changes/additions, please feel free to plug it here.

Personally, I love my Flycatcher, and wish I could use it more, or at least for more than a (basically) suicide ship. I would fly it all the time if I could, its definately my favorite ship model.

Yes yes yes...! I'd much prefer 8 new T1 destroyers over any tier 3, tier 4, tech 2, tech 3, blah blah imba pwnmobiles.
Destroyers are unfortunately far too neglected. I'd love to see varying new designs appearing. Missile platforms, short range turret specialty variants, etc. This would be very nice indeed.

I will only comment on the Trinity Catalyst hull...
In classic graphics, the model was way more detailed and beautiful, in Premium graphics it looks like the guy that made it was drunk or bored or something...
