As cool as that would be, it's not in keeping with the racial templates.
Gallente typically have more bandwidth, in order to field a few large drones.
Amarr typically have more storage space, in order to field a swarm of smaller drones.
Curse is an evolved Arbitrator, which is an Amarr droner. So you're meant to have 3 squads of Med drones, where the Lachesis (Gall Combat Recon) can only carry 4 Meds total. And the Ishtar (evolved Gall droner) can field 5 Hvy total.
You're actually doing better, by having replacement drones onboard. And if you stock a few Reppers as well, then you're multifunctional where the Gall have to refit and reload if anything out of the ordinary happens.

Sorry. 5 heavies on the Curse. The Pilgrim gets 5 fighters 
Combo of "Boost Pilgrim" and gives those mini-carrier folks what they want too! Triple the base speed so the anti-nano crowd has their killer ship as well!
Who wouldnt love this idea? (or fly that ship)

Actually, I believe that all non-Gallente ships need to have their drone bandwidth cut in half.
