Hey guys :D.
As some of you know, a while ago I shut down my two investment schemes and such so that I wouldn't have any solid responsabilities in EVE any more. Part of the reason was that I wanted to concentrate on my university exams as this year's exams are very important and contribute toward the quality of my degree when I graduate. I just got my exams result back and suffice it to say I made the right call.
I got 70-80% in all of my exams and if I can pull that off next year, I'll get a first class masters degree this time next year :D.
So there, I demolished my exams and for some reason I decided to post about it in OOPE. Go me!

Cool. I think I did pretty good in my Grade 12 Bio Final too... maybe ~95%. I'll have to wait until July to find out

Did you take the time to exclaim: "Who's your daddy?" during the exams? That would be pretty epic.
Here's hoping you succeed, and that you don't have to explain to anyone that your degree is something real and useful.

I've seen some strange new degrees coming out but I doubt that'll happen with mine, it's an old one. It's a four year masters degree of engineering in computer science from the Queen's university. According to what employers are asking for, it should be plenty but Queens are doing some interesting PhD work I could get involved in too so I haven't decided what to do yet.
Anyway, yes this thread is just a bit of ego-stroking and self-reinforcement but after the marks I got, I'd say I deserve a little of that :D. I'm just very pleased that I've proven I can do well if I put the effort in. My average mark seriously jumped from about 55% to 75% this year with the increased effort with the highest marks in the year being around 80%.

Heheh I did the same this year didn't log in since january, started again in june. Worth it though... =]
