George Carlin Died at 5:55PM of heart faliure at St. John's Health Centre in Santa Monica, California.
I found this to be very sad news as ive always wished to see him live before he passed on.
R.I.P George.

I was heartbroken when I came across this article on cnn.com. I never thought the day would come when the world would lose it's greatest comedian. He is and always will be my favourite.
He's made me chuckle,
He's made me ponder,
He's made me laugh to the point of tears.
R.I.P George, you will continue to bring laughter to millions well beyond this day.

Lastnight I introduced a good friend of mine to the comedy genius that is, or was, George Carlin, we sat and watched some of George's classic material on youtube laughing until our faces ached and our sides were fit to split.
George, you will be sorely missed by those you touched, may Joe Pesci look after you and may the sun shine down on you wherever you are.

I had the privilege of seeing him live last year, and I am now cherishing the memory more than ever. Amazing man, iconoclast, seminal thinker, never lost his connection to his humble beginning.

This is really a sad day for me. I feel as though I have lost a much loved cousin. I grew up watching Carlin and I didn't expect him to die too soon. I always imagined Carlin being 90 and still throwing Molotov*****tails at the ignorant The guy was a true verbal genius. No one could touch him.
If I believed in god or the afterlife I would say he was looking down at us laughing.
