In the new Empyrean Age trailer, which is here, right at the end the Amarr show up and use what looks like a superweapon to completely destroy a Minmatar fleet.
Now here's the question...did it look vaguely Jovian to anyone else? Could have just been the green-ish colour or the odd way in which it was deployed.
In the backstory the Amarr fought against the Jove once, (linky) and got their backsides handed to them and could this mean that the Amarr have now been colaberating with the Jove in a 'if you can't beat them, join them' mentality. We know that the Jove like to deal with anyone who has information that they want (Caldari - pod) so this may be possible.

Oh wow, where have you been? All was explained. It was a terran artifact found near the eve gate. Damaged the abaddon pretty badly and can't really be used again because the required energy source/fuel that it needs can't be harvested safely(except by rogue drones and the terrans themselves).

I haven't read the book yet if that's what you mean. I didn't read that thread with the spoilers in either as I want to find out for myself. Thanks though
