Edited by: AsfALT on 23/06/2008 11:30:48 Hello,
While trying to come up with a fit for a mate that started to fly a brutix recently, i ended up with this gank fit:
high: 7*ion t2 or 7*neutrons t2 med: 1*mwd t2/1*web t2/1*scram t2/1*LSE t2 !!! <-- this is the blasphemic(sp?) part low: 3*mfs t2/1*dcu/1*anything in case of IONS or RCU t2 in case of NEUTRONS rigs: 1*em/1*therm/1*extender drones: 5*ecm
Never seen anyone use one. I am curious, if someone did, to find out his/hers opinion.
Cheers.

swap lse for another web or a TP. either be full gank (dcu) or don't -- -- -- -- -- -- -- The secret to success, whether it's women or money, is knowing when to quit. I oughta know: I'm divorced and broke. |

Yeah but then i am left with 3 rigs slots that have no utility (as hybrid rigs are useles and can only be fitted on ion setup, armor rigs have limited impact and reduce speed, anything else is futile and not worthg the isk).

You get slightly more EHP with 3x extender rigs, but I appreciate that they're a bit more expensive and leave an EM hole. It depends who you're fighting, I suppose, and what weapons they normally use.

well yes the rigs are dirt cheap and cover all the basis.
Plus it seems this shield tank has more hp then the regular armor tank

Known trick, but it works better on Hurricane. --- Redesign local/scanner feature - make the place huge, dark and scary again! |

I know about the hurricane trick with nano lows but never considerd that 1 lse will tank the same or better then an 800mm plate.
Dose noone have any experience with it that he/she is willing to share with the rest of us :)

Pretty close to my fit actually.
6x Neutron IIs/ 1x Ion II (firing Void (I have a stockpile of it and prefer to save faction AM for my other ships)
1x MWD 1x Web 1x Warp Disruptor II 1x LSEII
3x Mag Field Stabs 1x Suitcase II 1x RCU
5x ECM drones
I don't run rigs because the ship is meant to be disposable. It does great damage, is respectfully quick, and works very well in gang warfare. If I was rolling in money I'd definitely triple fit shield extender rigs.

I guess fights are over too quickly to warrant a Repper? |

Its a gank fit. You either tank or gank. And with that kind of DPS you are working on the premise that your target will not be firing back at you for very long.
The OP: I personally would go with more speed so you can close in on your target much quicker to increase your chances to get a kill. And it might be able to get yourself out of trouble when you need to gtfo.

This is a solo myrm, which isn't slow, which is the bane of the Dual repper rigged myrm and plated myrm.

I've tested this and it works :)
You must use named scram/web and a named LSE because of CPU. _______________________________________________________________________________ EVE Online: The Hand-holding Age The truth about balance is that it doesn't exist. |
