k, what i dont get is this :
If i live in Europe i pay Ç14,95 a month.
If i live outside Europe i pay $14,95 a month.
If you convert $14,95 into Ç its Ç12,58.
Thats Ç2,37 more each month just because i live in Europe.
Why is this ? :)

it was mentioned in some newsletter and blog some time ago..
not that I can remember the full reason of course, but its "legitimate"

In Australia at the moment we pay more than a month ago... Our dollar is really fluctuating fluctuating at the moment.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

17.5 percent (as it currently stands)
they are very stealth about it, you see.
speaking from the perspective of living in the Uk.
we generally don't get to see the prices before the VAT is applied.
in magazines that sell products to business rather then individuals (they will list the price before VAT)
Sadly, us little peasants on the streets, get told how much something costs with VAT already bolted on. (Stealth Tax - We don't get to see how much our government are ripping us off)
Tax...Tax...Tax... until we've all had enough, and the revolution begins 
Even more sadly, i believe there is talk of a VAT system to be introduced in other countries like the USA

USA already have a sales tax. They don't apply it before showing the price, though, so you pick up stuff that adds up to $20 and then can't afford it because you only have $20.
On the whole, I prefer our system. It just means you need at least one working brain cell to calculate how much of your cost is tax.

Yeah and here in Denmark it's a world record of 25% as well a a 2nd best in income taxes. NOT to mention 150-180% on cars and gaz something like 4x what an american pay.
You don't see many ppl complaining that much though.
Why? amont others
Free healthcare
Not only free education all the way (Masters, PhD), but you also get money from the state WHILE studying. Not much but enough for most ppl to live without building up in debt.
Result?
More ppl get an education, better for the state as we manage to export other good than jobs, something which the US seems to be good at atm.
Conclusion:
Few things in the world are free.
We just pay the same bill's at different times and offices.

mhh well in germany you have to pay 16% VAT (called Mehrwertsteuer here).
but not to mention all the other taxes we have to pay 
but therefor everybody gets the best medical support
