That is true, and I hope the nations abide by that belief as well. We would not know though, so we would have to wait and see.

I support this. I have always been of the belief that peace will have the most benefit to us all, and in the particular case of the great Empire I am from, that peace is the best way to advance the goals of the Amarr.
As a capsuleer, I have called for the races to work together, and have worked to help the empires find peace. Now that they are at war, I still hope for peace. I pray each day that the war might end.
Yet I cannot join this group.
The Empire has been invaded. An illegal attack was launched in defiance of all laws. My home is under threat, and though I much dislike combat, I cannot do anything other than stand ready to defend her.
I support this movement, and I still call for peace and stand ready to help others work for it. But I cannot join you. ________________________________ This is not a signature. |

Illegal or no, the call for the liberation of our people over-rid all political rallying. many gave peace a try and most of our people still remain chained to the will of the Amarian slave trade. The call foor free space is a noble one, but an empty one whilst a third of the Galaxy's people remain enslaved and free to do nothing but the will of another. ---------------------------------

Last I looked, Mad one, there was one third of the Matari in chains, not one third of the universe's people. Now a great number of other people and the bloodlines are enslaved as well, but not nearly as many.
Slavery is a grave problem indeed, but trying to blow things out of proportions like this is not needed.
Also, I observed your chat's with young Miss. Yuunai. You seem to have given the girl a good scare. Not really to hard to do I think, I find your kind sickening.
Revelling in the meaningless death and destruction of this universe. Poor weakling.

Even one man enslaved is terrible example. Death and destruction of the universe? Are you mad? Surely you understand the concept of entropy and decay? Without both their can be no future ---------------------------------

And now your rambling incoherantly with seemingly no meaningfull replies to my statement.
You truly are a weakling, mad one. I will waste no more time with you today.

The ameoba achieves nothing without the will to feed. It remains an amoeba until it is outclassed by those who have killed and eaten to progress. This war is no different example of evolution taking it's path ---------------------------------

Originally by: Rodj Blake As I have often said in the past, we Amarr are essentially a peace-loving people.
However, when our systems are brutally attacked and occupied by the warlike Minmatar, we shall of fight back at every opportunity.
Wrong.
You Amarr are essentially a brutal, repressive and slave trading people.
So when anybody attacks you to free slaves and end your reign of terror and oppression, you get into "double standard" - mode, bring out every bit of hypocrisy you can and start a civil war in the meantime. ---

If war is a due result of evolution, as some have stated, then wars in general are fought not over politics, slavery or even religious beliefs, no, then wars are fought as part of our genetic code, I for one hope that is not the case.
I still see that those who oppose one another are at it not only in space, but also here.
Still, we of the PPPI slowly go about our trade, silently keeping our own vigil against those that would destroy us, simply because our faith, skin or heritage is not to their liking.
Gentlemen, you may bicker and ***** about it all you want to, the mere fact is that most of you are still fighting for the wrong reasons. We choose not to fight, in order that we may not fall into that category of fools.

Your oppinion on what is a foolish and wrong reason to fight have been noted.
Keep living like you want, I won't bother you or attack you. But for you to tell me I'm a fool, and fighting for the wrong reasons, now I'll simply have to demand an excuse for that bowl or trash you just threw at me.
Intaki Prime is fully located in low-sec, thus it is possible for the Caldari to annex it. That will never happend, not while I live, and I don't need YOU to tell me I'm doing it wrong while shielding my home from any and all possible harm.
Play the pacifist trader angle all you want, the thing is most of us are fighting for those we love, and what we believe in. You might not agree with that but brave people do not need to hear your sideline comments describing your views on their struggles, ESPECIALLY from a man who are not part of the conflict.
I'd like an appology, Mr. Ewans, and I'd like to hear it soon.

Peace among Capsuleers...
This GalNet thread alone is testament to the fact that it's a futile cause. As long as there are two people left in the universe, someone is going to want someone else dead. It's simply human nature - and by extention, Capsuleer nature - to be jealous and greedy and venomous and even in some cases outright evil to eachother.
It's an admirable cause Mr Ewans, but I'm afraid I don't look good dressed in idealism.

Mr. Bloodbird, I stated most, I did not state all.
Defence of your homeworld/home system is admirable. What you fail to see is that the idea behind the PPPI is that no Pod Pilot should engange in the attack of your homeworld. If it chooses to be Gallente, Amarr, Caldari or Minmatar, then that choice should be respected.
These past weeks of combat have brought no gains for any of the parties involved, they have only brought suffering for those standing innocently in the paths of their warlords and politicians.
