PLD runs when we need to .. at least we dont hide in safespots when we got twice the enemy numbers.
AND at the end of the day we pwn you boys.

Just one thing, Millennium actually only lost 1 ship in said enguagement (a megathron), I suggest you check your logs to confirm who you were shooting at. You were actually enguaging Imperial Minning Reserve [IMR] and one MLM ship.
Our only other loss on that date was unfortunatly to friendly fire

Why is it that at least half the posts I read with CA / CA-associated people degrade into the following routing:

It's becoming rather tiring. Just be civil and stop throwing around kill-numbers that everyone and his uncle's pet will contest (and no-one can really confirm), and for bloody hell's sake stop that rediculous "STFU" style nonsense.
I've met several CA/ex-FE/etc people that have been quite nice to talk to in spite of being my enemies (and in Marichek's case, in spite of killing me once =). The ones shouting high and low accomplish nothing except their own ridicule.
Anyway, rant over, let's give you my view on this:
There's some serious credibility issues going on whatwith recent convos (the one posted here is but one example of this ******y), and it is looking more and more like what was first suspected: PA, or certain elements in PA, want to make a landgrab. You might feel hurt at the accusation, but that's how it looks to me, so if that's not the case you've got a lot of work to do.
I trust Cao Cao. Why? Because I know he would (at least try) to kill me given half a chance. I know where he is. But something is wrong when I feel the need to be worried about certain elements in the group that are claiming to be holding Tribute and surrounds as freespace.

Okay I would ask Jericho Fraction personnel to take a break before commenting further on this situation. There is a lot of new information appearing that needs consideration. I intend to speak to the participants if possible and make some informed decisions. At this point I think there is enough muddy water and confusion in what happened (and why) to hold off making solid policy until clarity is achieved.
Paladins remain KOS to Jericho of course. But I would very much like to speak to Revol personal involved in these matters before jumping the gun.
I support my corporate officers totally of course, and believe they have made statements with the best intentions, based on the information they had at the time. Sometimes we aren't blessed with total overview however and a sensible decision-making process requires perspective and careful analysis of the facts to reach informed policy.
I will say however that the suggestion that PA corporations have hired pirates to attack and harrass non-NAST treaty starships in the Tribute Freespace zone is a potentially explosive situation and something that needs immediate attention and resolution.

Dirty looks ... you declared war, perhaps you could come and find us. (hint) try Curse. You know the place (the alliance you are sworn to defend).

k im too drunk to read about this crap already written but why this smack talk? why not just fight and do not post on the forums? it doesnt do any good, no victories made, no glory gained. Posting on the forums only drags your corporation down the drain. just stop it, stay silent.

I agree that smack talk is by and large pointless drivel ... but politics can be facinating. There are moves and counter moves and intrigues being played out here. And looking behind the insults and trash grants a unique perspective.

Did you hell.... sorry to see this thread dissolve into BS, but the fleet fight you fought in was roughly equal for most of it, 3 BS's from our side jumped in 2 or 3 minutes in to the fight, and heavy losses were inflicted on both sides... I'm not gonna bother with a body count again you can read the earlier posts.... I'd also like to point out that you were one of the few people talking **** in local after the fight, most everyone else was pretty cool.

My take...
I beleive Remo and Tbone covered most of the chronology as far as what happened between PA and ourselves. The backstabbing of us, despite our amiable intentions with Tribute in a gang with PA ships, set off a series of events in motion that may set the whole region ablaze in war. Considering they tried to hire "pirates" to remove us from tribute with set bounties on each of our heads as well tells myself that any trust I have had with PA has been completely eroded. In my opinion Cyberdine set off a firestorm in Tribute now as well as PA trying to make FU puppets in their stupid little political game. As far as hostile intentions towards FU, that is up to them now, we've already talked to them, and leave that decision up to them. As far as we are concerned they are not the true enemy until they demonstrate fully that they are. I've spent many hours negotiating with PA, and we have spent many hours defending Tribute and helping others within the region in order to foster amiable relations.
Well that time is over now. We are not going to be bullied around by an alliance of liars, bullies, and backstabbers.
In the last major engagement, most would have run from the odds we faced. But we TURNED AROUND AND ATTACKED, which speaks volumes about the guts we have along with the Paladins and speaks little for the big ol yellow streak of PA. At least the Paladins are straight up and honest about who they decide to kill and I am honored to fly along side them.
Someone said the odds were even, I think your ignorant, and your fleet commander is retarded as well. You didnt expect us to turn around and begin to lay waste to a superior fleet, and you got caught with your pants down, lets face facts here and stop crying about it. When we got bored waiting for them to attack for HOURS in D7 with at least 2-1 odds, we decided to go back to obe. Along the way we ran into reinforcements and took them out on the way back. My alt spotted them chasing us then, and kept track their movements. We hoofed it as fast as we could towards OBE and decided to turn around and begin to slaughter you like the cattle you are.
Anyhow, it seems now that there is internal strife with the PA and from what I understand about 50 BS just went to Tribute that consisted of RKK and FU as well as others in a massive show of force. Sounds like they are as sick of PA's crap as we are.
You can label me a pirate for winging up with the Paladins, fine, I'm absolutely awestruck and honored to find another corp that has guts, honesty, and doesnt take crap from anyone.

Shortly after this declaration, members of Cyberdyne Industries (CDI) and Generals of Destructions (GODS) opened fire on several LOD ships, resulting in the destruction of an LOD tempest piloted by Phonix.

I seem to remember the paladins attacking the LS- refining outpost and IMR sent 4 BSs to deal with you. We warped in to the station and you guys warped out. Cao Cao was the only one to stay because of the missiles bombarding him keeping him from aligning to warp.
So, if you guys are such good fighters, why did the entire paladin force run from a weaker force? (i say weaker because you guys had 2 ravens, 1 tempest and a megathron -- we had 2 tempests, 1 raven and 1 scorp). Our force didnt even take 1 point of damage because you guys just ran from a weaker force.

I would offer a point of clarification here. Reikoko (RKK) and other allied corporations including Jericho Fraction, Celestial Apocalypse, Millenium, Everlasting Vendetta and others, were never members of the NAST treaty. Halseth Durn of PA made it plain that NAST only encompassed alliances, not individual corporations, and so we were never part of that arrangement and were specifically excluded (by name) by the politicians in the Pheonix Alliance.
So on the plus point, it means that Phoenix Alliance did not break NAST by KOS'ing RKK. (Although they did of course later break it by KOS'ing Legion of the Damned).
But on the minus side, they did pretty much declare all of us KOS beforehand by attempting to pay Paladins of the Red Skull to destroy all non-NAST shipping in Tribute. (As shown in the Cao Cao chatlog).
Speaking personally I am still pretty much amazed and astounded by what has happened within the PA. Its incredible to me that NAST has been revealed so quickly as nothing more than a territorial land grab and cynical political device to cover PA expansion plans into Tribute.
As for Revol. I must say publicly that I have a lot of respect for the honesty and integrity of some Revol members and Aerik and TBone have made a convincing case for their actions in this regard. It does certainly look like Revol played honourably and were betrayed by politicians and backstabbers in the Pheonix Alliance.
My problem is the Paladins of the Red Skull are:
a) Curse Alliance
b) Restrictive Territorial Pirates
c) At war with Jericho.
And so we are left in a difficult situation.
We sympathise with the position Revol is in (and are likely targetted for desruction in Tribute alongside them by the PA given the intentions in the CDI chatlog) But then again, we are also targetted for destruction by the Paladins of the Red Skull Curse Alliance pirates.
It is, I think you will agree, a real muddle.

In my experience Bizarre you and the rest of Xan only fight when you have the numeric superiority. This is a fair enough tactic just don't expect us to accomidate you.
As for PA they are now paying a heavy price for their treachory. All LMM wanted was a little peace and quiet to mine in Tribute.
We have a lot of new players and did not want conflict, PA changed that and now our training program has had to be adapted to include Frigate combat tatics.

Yes here are the losses on that night if anyone cares. PA had atleast 2 times the numbers of ships but not all in the same place. We killed 2 scorps on the way to OBE. Then we waited for there fleet and managed to down 4 more battleships from them. But it got messy and we did loose 3 battleships along with my lovley blackbird :(. But overall it was bunch of fun.
