Basicly no one commited all their forces to the fight and it was rather disorganized. One by one the northern entitys fell. I would not blame any single person or alliance for our past failure. I just hope the NC has learned from its past mistakes. Appeasment only works for so long and selling out your allies will leave your friendless (ie bobo's lack of a GBC now). I dont think the core, Razor/MM/MH/Pure are gonna sell each other out but if one of them is taken down, it will be the deathnail of the NC. Again this is speculation but history also tends to repeat itself if people dont learn from it. What they do though is their choice and since i am no longer involved, i really dont care.(except maybe Pure, i like those guys). Isnt this like the 50'th north is gonna die thread this week? That is not how I remember things, that is how they happened. As for not standing up to ATUK to help PA and NBSI that is bull****. We moved our PVP force to PA space to live out of a POS and fight ATUK even though PA/nbsi (aside from 5-10 members) stopped helping us. We also had Morsus Mihi attacking us from the south (which was seriously helping ATUK's cause). Then PA/NBSI gangs started attacking our allies that we invited into our space (kia) as well as smacking/shooting at our alliance members. They were doing this while we were defending their space for them against one of the best pvp forces in the game. At that point all the north had turned their backs on us and were only trying to make things worse for us. Only then did we start killing PA/NBSI. We definitely didn't beat ATUK, but it's pretty hard to argue we didn't stand up to them. We fought them every day for a year. Considering your character wasn't created until after most of those things happened your "memory" of things you were not there for may not be all that reliable. If you doubt the accuracy of any of those things go ahead and ask someone who was actually there at that time. If you don't like me its fine, but no need to make stuff up. I have ALOT of familiarity with the north and I'll comment about them if i damn well please.

You sure do type a lot of words when you could tl;dr that to "when things got tough we switched sides" That's fundamentally what happened isn't it?

So it seems fellow eve players that a northern entity namley PURE are attacking Goons - to which i cannot honestly blame them... my point is, will the rest of the NC continue to be all hot air and sit behind their borders playing with eachother, or, will they back up their words, backup their allies (unlike that of RK) and take a stand against their apparent 'allies'. Who knows, who can tell, all i know is - im loving all this drama between the two sides, especially RA's diplomacy to the north. Aneu I agree there will be a collision of sorts. But i dont think it'll be as dramatic as you might think. I think it will start with XdeathX and solar fleet attacking mostly harmless and possibly goons and pure going at it. But I dont think the conflict will move past that. I'd bet on Rzr, rawr, and co just letting it happen and not interfering. They will find some sort of "we didnt like them anyways" excuse for them to stand back and watch as their former friends die. You're adorable :) pershphanie was also in Terror In The System, aka the very fastest of all the former "New North" alliances installed in MC's wake to cave... And before FE-the-alliance I seem to recall some form of failure in Great Wildlands, and something else up north in Venal, Tenal, or Branch before that... EVE memories from four years ago are a bit foggy though.
