I dont normally do this but heres a bump for what looks like a guy that is trying his hardest to motivate people..
I know what its like recruiting and how its feels when people join and then leave because they have no vision.
Keep at it mate and you will find your player base will even out and the guys that stick with you make you a better corp then having 60 members and sucking..

Its been hard since people prefer to play the game in an already established corp / alliance. I did that and found that once i was in their meld it was hard to try anything else in the game.
What i've tried to do is recruit people who are mature, have a life outside of the game, and enjoy just being able to sign in to complete some sort of activity within corp.
I want to be able to run really nice PVP fleets - we do that with our limited numbers and unfortunately it means that our possibilities for targets are reduced as well - which we actually make a positive since we take the fights most of the time.
We are getting good numbers with 15 online last night over the course of a month all but 10 members have signed in (all of which have been in touch to say they intend to return to the game when RL has calmed down). I dont think we do too badly but i really want another 10 - 15 more and then who knows....
I've enjoyed this part of the game - parts of the game i dont enjoy is the ease to who blobs most wins and since i find the line "make some friends" really, well quite condescending since it implies making friends is easy in an important internet spaceship game, i will keep running this course of trying to make a community for people who want small scale pvp and ability to run incursions as a group of "E-Friends".

Corp is looking for those players who want to PVP and run assualts. CCP killed Incursions for the small corps the VG fleets are pointless for us since we would rather be pvp-ing, and you have to wait around for hours to get into an assualt fleet.
We want to run assualts as a corp on a reg basis - may be 2 nights a week to turn over the wallet so that we can PVP....
