I really do hate it when people try to justify that kind of crap with a "OOOOOOOOOOOOH, he never really said..."
On the other hand, the advice I would give is don't offer to be ransomed.
If he convo's you though, regardless to language or loopholes or whatever crap he uses, he ought to just honor the ransom. That way he isn't getting named and shamed and unable to get quality ransoms again (should he try).

Umm why are you randoms saying he's having a cry, not once is there any thing remotely crying, just a warning to people that Tyd Drakken does not honour ransoms o.O
They love hearing people cry so much that they assume that anything that someone says is a teary-eyed, elementary school-age, temper-tantrum.
I'll admit that I love seeing that when it does happen.

Was pirating once and cought an indy with 89k zydrine and 36k mega inside it, as soon as we engaged it he shouted "NO" in local and sent Dell (partner) 100mil, we knew what it was for but we blew him up anyway knowing his cargohold was without a doubt full of goodies. Difference is......we sent the 100mil back.
Which is the right thing to do, really. It's not like he was rewarding you guys for such an awesome industrial kill. Good call on that.
This loophole stuff is sheer crap. YOU know what the money is for, so why not send it back? Now he's farther away from another ship for you to pop.

All wordsmithing aside, you CAN play the game honorably, and be a pirate. If you disagree, go watch VETO in action for a few days. If you are still not convinced, then you're probably just another soon-to-return-to-WoW player that's just mad they can't get everything the easy way on every mmo they play.
