is there one?
i am seraching to join some sort of Defense Core
(due to large CA activity and the fackt they are penetrating SA space often - resultting in dead miners )
due to my PVP player nature and not so big love toward mining - i am searching anwser to my question troug forums
why? because my CEO is layzy arese miner who dont want risk his shiny BS (joking) 
/edit: im not looking to leave corp - just join some sort Guard group that patrol borders and fight a lot 
anyway - if u need more guns i whuld be glad

wtf, how can CA be penetrating your space when EVERYONE knows we're pinned down in HLW taking 100+ BS losses daily?

It's a blob war which CA wins every time tbh... like tonight 50+ CA pilots attacked dss.. leaving as far as I know 2 frig pilots in their pod..

It's great that CA want to fight, but sending 30 frigs and 10+ cruisers at a time into DSS is not the way to get one. We won't bother with frigate storms like that unless there's enough people with frigates nearby to attack them, even then I'm not really a fan of 40vs40 fleet lag.

Well Diamond Dog, we actually also got a scorpion at the DSS station. The pilot's name was Somebody (yes character's name was Somebody) and he was from Shadow Company.
And the reason why we went down to DSS was because you guys mobilized a big fleet of your own, (mostly cruisers and frigs yourself, 7 BS's or so) and then when the opportunity arose we chased you all the way back to DSS where you proceeded to log...
I would like to say though that there was no smacktalk in local between our fleets, wish that could be said for these forums though.

Yeah there were about 20 in the gang, so 7 bships means at most 13 frigates (assuming 0 cruisers, and assuming 7 is really what we had (I'd venture it was more bships than that)). Again, not something we'll risk against this, which was taken 20 seconds before that fleet left HLW to head to DSS.
Anyway, I'm not smack talking here, I'm simply letting you folks know that we would rather log and wait the 10 minutes until you leave DSS than fight against twice our gang number in frigates alone, it's just tactics really. Even if we kill every one of your frigates, if you get even one of our bships we'll have lost 20x more than we've gained.

Everyone penetrates everyone's space. No real way to prevent that unless you can somehow coordinate foreces in all entry points. That's probably not going to happen. Miners are at risk everywhere. Both CA and SA do a good job of deffending their space when they actually run across the "invaders". More often than not the invading force and the deffending force are either not playing at the same time or are far away from eachother.

All this whining about you got more ships than us etc last night we had a mixed fleet of BS cruisers and frigs I will admit that 60% of the fleet consisted of frigs and cruisers BUT at the end of the day your at war with the CA so expect a lot of CA wanting to come fight you. If you can't handle the numbers tough sh!t.

we come down to DSS because it's nice and close, if FA was closer, we'ed go******them as often as we could. No-one in CA really likes FA, infact we really hate Xan to.. maybe FA and SA should trade places for a bit, give us a change in "moving targets"

Lol, ok so lets get this straight. You send a fleet into Curse and then run all the way back to DSS when we come for you 10 minutes later. Did you not think the CA would respond? We have sent you running home every time for the past 2 weeks, why would yesterday be any different?

Duke, let me ge this straight, VotF carries you, Shinra keeps you standing, SIM and Colossal guards your borders and you have the balls to compare YOURSELF to them? You dont see me holding SWI back and then claiming glory that doesnt belong to us, especially if I do everything in my power to work against them and my allies. And Maybe, you should let your staff do some of the work in OC, perhaps if you let someone else lead and you abdicated, OC would flurish again, you hold your people back Duke, then you blind them with your endless propaganda and leave me utterly in awe; if I could keep people half that happy by mearly acting the tyrant, the success I'd have. Duke, what happened to C4. Are they all part of CA now? How is your ego holding after this wreaking hit? SA defence did a good job I'd say.
Everybody noticed change of tactics of CA.
Either warfare was too costly for you guys or you are saving up for the long run? Fighting that many wars is a true challenge.
But fair is fair. SA is going through a rough time as well.
Undoubtly they will get back on their feet and so will CA.
So more fights and more fun.

SA is back on thier feet. C4 has CA members, and CA backing when they are in trouble, but are independent when the fighting is easy. In CIC we called these guys allied liabilities

fuze, during the war between EV and VOTF i had come to respect many of the people in EV. Prior to the war i thought they were the most annoying people ever but then we had some nice chats in local (with no smacktalk from either side) and they earned my respect. My question to you is why are you casting your corp in a bad light while you continue to flame CA while you are not in SA anymore?
And to Bared, i find it very distasteful to bring in countrys or other things from RL into a game. Please refrain from saying things about the French. (or perhaps i read it wrong but still all the same)

I'm not flaming CA but merely commenting Bareds post towards Duke. I just thought it was a very well put comment. He dented some ego allright.
And this is not a lets flame CA thread but it's about SA defense.
I just think they are doing a fine job at it. There still are some guys over there that I wish all the best.

Since I dont want to be thought of as a coward, I'll tell you where my alts are, what they do, and how many. I have 5, Bared, the main, is in SWI. Bared the Alt is in some newbie corp and is used for making snide and cruel remarks, in other words, Medalt is personal, and Medar is OFFICIAL use only (i.e. Medar posts pertain to the offiical opinion and medalt is my own personal.) Then I have the mobile Director, just for clone hopping to offices and crap, her name is Meritrices. War Penguin is a recently aquired account, since his previous owner was King of Carebears and quit when a corp war was declared on us, I had to start a combat character on the account... Ared Mosinel... he'll be in station until he's useful, until then he's not in use. the 6th slot isnt in use yet, but might wind up being another mobile director, but you never know when you'll need another alt, there pretty useful.

Collective has BALLS. I love those guys, will fight anything. Won't run. Perhaps you and Zombie could get together and teach Celes, Moo, Atuk, and Evol how to get out of thier safespots and stations? Would be much appreciated, really getting tired of running up to E02, and klmt just to find docked, safespoted, smacktalkers.
