Well, i don't visit the forums that much.. yet..
But some things can be handy. I mean.. sptting through those 4000 posts is kinda boring and makes me sleepy..
So: What about a search button? that way you will have;
-Less spam topics about the same stuff
-Less players that ask questions that have been answered a lot before
-A more organised forum(it is already organised etc.)
-it's simply easier for those who search for a particular topic/comment/question/info topic.
I don't know if this has been asked before, or if it is hidden somewhere in the forum. But i think it would be a good enhancement for this forum. (i also didn't know if this was the right place/channel to post it..)
Post your comments/questions/complaints or whatever.. -I like to know what you guys think of this..

We've been yelling for a search feature since day one but all we got was this silly little search box in the upper right that barely works and gives you results that have nothing to do with what you are searching for.
It's such a joke of a search feature I'm surprised they left it on the page. Features that poorly implemented make a company look really bad...

So that'd mean they don't really pay attention for the EVE Forums.. (is my guess)
Forums/Communities are just as important as the game itself.. I don't actually understand why they wouldn't create such button.. i mean.. It's a code of 10 lines i think
It ain't that much work.. I've seen the code of a simple search button and it wasn't that big at all.. 5 - 15 mins work is all you need for it.
It suprises me that CCP didn't create such already, and that they haven't paid attention to the forum users, on what they want.
I used the search button in the upper right aswell, but it only gives irrelevant info here.. (the thing i was searching for is why i couldn't connect to the test server, due to incorrect account information etc.)
I'll try that link of yours, to find my info.. Though CCP should have given that link instead of a user/forum member.
(the fact that CCP doesn't respond to this post, already explains their interests in my opinnion)
